    Thank you for the information and clarity of your video. Wiggled it and turned it clockwise as the manual suggested. It took two of us and several tries to remove the anti-clog cover from our new unit.

      @Edwin R Bolton, you are welcome. I hope trying it this way is easier

    I tried the squeeze pull method and using gloves to remove the anti-clog cap on a new unused Foodi, without success. I was able to get it off using a pliers to grip and pull. I tried popping it on and off several times to see if it would get easier, but I had to use the pliers each time. Hopefully as I use the machine the cap will be more cooperative. This is an obvious design flaw.

    thanks, just got a second hand one and cap was very tight. Seeing how it was fitted helped and now all clean and back in place

    Thank you for this helpful video. I could not get the darn thing out. My husband tried and he couldn’t get it out either. We couldn’t grip it tight enough in the small space. Then I had a moment of inspiration. I put my rubber washing up glove on and tried again and it came straight out. 😀

    I got it off after turning it and twisting it and telling myself she makes it look easy, so I watched and listened for the third time and finally got it. Lol thank you for making this video.

    Thank you so much for this! I just got mine last night and I was frustrated - the instructions in the manual about twisting it resulted in nothing. Just tried it after watching your video and it came right off.

    Thank you for assistance with that cap. My husband finally got it off. My next difficulty is getting the sealing ring back in. It took both of us at least 30 minutes. I was ready to throw the machine out a window or return it! Any tricks up your sleeve. I did call ninja but all they could do was read me the same instructions from the manual.

      Try lifting the wire that it’s supposed to fit behind a little to get a start and then work your way around pressing on the outside of the sealing ring, than it goes in fairly easily.

    I have followed the instruction booklet and turned and turned it clockwise. I have followed your video and squeezed and pulled till my fingers hurt - and still can't get the damned thing off! What a poorly designed thing to put into a brilliantly designed piece of equipment!

  • @ianmc3672

    Shouldn’t worry about cleaning it to much as that model soon breaks if you use it a lot ! Just look on google as there are lots of people saying it’s only lasted 2 years .

      @ianmc3672, totally not true. Mine has lasted longer than 2 years. I clean as I stare in the video and have had no issues.

    Mine I couldn’t pull it out too is it because I haven’t use it yet and needs to use it first before I can pull it out? Just wondering because I just bought it. Thanks

      @mleewashington5334  Год назад

      @ms.buttercup939, you should still be able to remove it even though you haven’t used it yet. Squeeze the sides a little as you pull down on it

    Just purchased this cooker. The side water capture bin on ours does not remove as easy as yours appears to come off. I have yet to remove it as I am worried I will break something. Was yours difficult to remove at first and then got easier with time?
