- The ongoing legal dispute over a French estate and winery Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie formerly owned together is getting ugly. In a new court filing obtained by ET, Jolie’s former investment company Nouvel accuses Pitt and ‘co-conspirators’ of attempting to retain control of Château Miraval by ‘stripping’ and ‘looting’ its assets. Nouvel is seeking at least $350 million in damages. Pitt and Jolie were married from 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share six children together.

No wonder she looks tired and sick! Playing constant head games and planning revenge scenarios on a daily basis for five years would do that to a person. All of the hate she gives is sucking the life out of her and her family, and shes so entrenched in it she doesnt even realize the effect its having. Absolutely zero self awareness. Her whole, implying she couldn't talk about it or didn't want to get into it when we know she's been chomping at the bit to make things public is laughable. She found a way around it and she still thinks she's the smartest person in the room.
Angelina really does think that the public wanted to know, that they had the right to know because she's so important and high profile that it's a matter of public interest.
This is a lawsuit about the alleged invalid sale of a business, not defamation of character. This seems like a weak response to me.

If the agreement between Jolie and Pitt spelled out that no one should sell their shares without each other's consent, the Russian Oligarch should have procured Pitt's consent to waive such obligation before the signing of purchase agreement with Jolie. That's the whole purpose of due diligence process... It's either the Russian Oligarch didn't conduct a thorough due diligence, or they ignored such obligation blatantly...
