I spent three weeks vacationing in that rain forest (Cairns). 70% of the annual rain fall fell in that three weeks. Loved every minute of it. What a lovely trip you had.
Unreal guys..!! Loved watching your video and we were super impressed by the detail and planning of the layout.. just on our way to Karratha to pickup our 2007 Hino Dual Cab 4 x4 so will be looking forward to your next videos..keep up the fantastic content 👍👍
Thank you Jason, I am glad you liked the build. We have some exciting news on another project that will eclipse this one. Keep a eye out for our next video on the details.
Thank you so much for you wonderful comment. We put a lot of time working out what we wanted and the hard part was fitting it in and making it work. We have a great project coming up, stay tuned.
Thanks Grant, we did do a lot of brain storming and thinking of ways to make the ideas work. There is very little we would change after doing some big trips.
Impressive that your rig did the CREB track. I did it in 2011 on a dirt / adventure bike, the track was kind of closed and very wet and it took me 5 hours, I know that hill your'e talking about 😁I've been thinking about getting one of those ex firetrucks so it's nice to see how capable they are.
Hey Kevin, cheers we pondered a long time on this one to make it work. One of the challenges was the off the shelf bed lifts were not strong enough for all of us to ride up to the roof top deck. We had to make it from hydraulics. Again thanks and we have a new project underway.
Thanks Bill, we absolutely love travelling and its really cool doing the build too. Again thank you for taking the time to comment and we have a cool new project under way that we are excited to share with everyone.
We are amazed about your truck. Most excellent. We would really would love to get more details about your bed mechanism, the opening roof and your party deck with your solar roof safety rail…
Thank you so much for your comment. So we used hydraulics to lift the bet up and down driven via a 24vdc power pack. The controller we used was a more industrial one. The reason was we are in the process of converting the roof to a button lifting mech. I will do a video around it. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
OMG, that roof top set up is dope. This would have to be the best setup ive seen so far for a truck conversion. Do you have a build plan avaliable? 8 months and now other content?
Awesome, Ive just bought myself a isuzu dual cab truck and have started making the small 3x2m area a tiny home. Its been a challange but alot of fun. Great vid
Hi Nave, thank you so much for your comment. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We did learn a lot and are happy to share it with you. We are also onto a new project so stay tuned.
Awesome build. Would love to see a step by step guide or dimensions of the build with materials. Need more info so I can do the same. Absolutely incredible project that I would love to do.
What an amazing accomplishment for you all. You have done a fantastic job on the whole build! So many little details and a lot of thought has gone into it. Just curious if you're willing to share your sketchup file?
love the roof top bed and solar panel tilt up railing. Question..... roof top bed.... is that just a home brewed large box with bedding in it on the roof? Did you put access from inside to that spot thru a roof hatch?
Hi Coachgeo, Thank you for your comment. With the bed, the box you see on the roof is to house the bed during normal use of the truck and also lifts up to allow for sleeping at roof top. We can ride the bed up and down. I hope this helps with your question. If it hasn’t please feel free to reach out.
Hi Jomo, thanks for your wonderful comments. I will have to do a cost breakdown and work it out. We built this truck over a couple of years and at the time were not looking at doing any videos so we haven’t got as much content as we really should have. We have a exciting new project coming up that we are so excited to share with everyone.
Thanks Alpha, it did take a bit of thought on how to make all the panels interlock both in the up and down position. It works great and thank you for your amazing comment. Stay tuned we have project that we are currently working on and we will be sharing it soon.
Gday guys, this is an awesome build, it's really terrific, where are you guys located? any chance I could have a closer look and pick your brains about this.
Hi Benjamin, We are in Northern NSW Australia. Happy to share what we have learnt etc. email me if you like made_in_aus@live.com I don’t check the mail box all that often but I will reply.
You all are awesome! What an incredible Expedition rig! Your creativity has produced a next level build. That pop top bedroom....WOW how did you come up with that? Super organized. 6 weeks in your truck? Now that's living. You are creating memories that will last forever. 👍🦘 I hope you keep creating great content. I'm sharing your channel on a bunch of FB tiny home and overlanding groups. If you do the same add this string code at the end to have an auto sub box pop up. ?sub_confirmation=1 Looking forward to seeing your adventures. I subed from Florida USA.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. We love the truck, there is not really a lot we would change as far as lay out. We are doing our best to create content and we have a exciting new project coming up. Again thank you so much for your great comment.

Great vid. Finally got to view it.
Wow. So much clever design and engineering crammed into a relatively small (but versatile) space. Best one of these rigs I seen.
Thank you so much for you wonderful comment. We put a lot of time working out what we wanted and the hard part was fitting it in and making it work. We have a great project coming up, stay tuned.
Probably the most practical and best build I've ever seen!
