I believe the King that is being referenced is one of prior ruling Kings that reigned long before the Oaldean Empire rise to power. After all it is within Raifort's class that we learn Paldea used to used divided into smaller nations that usually warred against eachother. It was not even called Paldea back then yet, because they were not united under one banner and rulership yet. Lastly the merchant themselves from the East not necessarily the king himself.

    Excellent video!
I'm so impressed with the animations etc it all looks great!
Yes these Pokémon are so innocent, it isn't their fault they cause destruction, and in some cases they are trying their best not to! You explanation and talking points were all very good.
    Have a lovely day

agreed, the real criminal is whoever hid all those stakes across the map with no sort of hint or vibration to tell the general placement of them
i mean i get it, you want to keep the world safe from ruin, but thats six hours of my life and battles with the draw distance i'm never getting back..

Peak designs, best legendary trio/quartet in the history of the franchise. Gen 9 might have had problems of performance but even without Sugimori the artistic direction is still at the top (btw perhaps Gimmighoul evolved in something else in the other region and in-game will be an evolution by trade)

This is such a good theory!!! 😃 I could totally see this being how it works for future games.

It's kind of extremely funny, I never thought of it before, but they totally could make Spiritomb into a ruinous Quintet. It kind of has some things in common with them... but then I think to a degree you could start arguing that Banette also belongs, lol

Considering the real world inspirations behind the Ruinous Quartet (which I didn’t really touch on in the video because I’m not super knowledgeable about that), I don’t think there will be more of them since they’re based on a group of 4.

    Sadly they are not innocent.
They were traded for Tera shards, and the King's greed awoke them.
Then to save the kingdom, a great heated song was played, birds of paradise joined in with dance, and plants too aided with illusion of light.
In the end, those who staked their lives against the seeds of Ruin, lost the lives they knew.
    In Death, or in Darkness.

Where are you getting this from? I don’t see any text like this from the games.

Look at skeledirges signature move for the biggest hint in the game.@@CaylasCapsule
