  • I had a blast down at the Patty Wagstaff Aerobatic School! On this flight Spencer Suderman and I took the Extra 300L up for some slow rolls (my nemesis), loops, and even some inverted flat spins. It doesn't get much better than this! @justplanesilly

    I believe every pilot should take an unusual attitude or upset recovery course. The skills you learn could save your life.

    I would love to take an upset attitude and basic aerobatics course. There are times I wish, for many reasons, that I would have learned to fly at an early age. Aerobatics would have definitely been a part of my life. Beautiful video!!

      I’ve seen people at every age start flying. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last couple years it is that you are never too old. The instructors are great and will work with anyone. I think Patty her self is pushing 70, and I’m here to tell you that woman can fly!

    Hello WY fly guy from Sydney, Australia.
    Firstly, thanks for the aerobatic video, it makes an interesting change.
    * the change from R/L rudder at the point of inverted: is that fast or gradually applied.
    * with a straight loop and on initial climbing: are you increasing engine power?
    Assuming.
    * with inverted straight and level (the stick forward:(because the top surface of the wing is now facing the earth))?
    Thanks........ For riding along!

    • @wyflyguy114
      @wyflyguy114  3 года назад +1

      Rudder pressure increases with bank angle.
      There is no change in engine power on the loop we simply dive to increase airspeed.
      Yes just because of the way the plant is trimmed. If you trimmed the plane we would be able to release pressure and fly straight and level inverted.

      @@wyflyguy114 I had one of my instructors introduced me to aerobatics some time ago when my usual back than trainer wasn't avbl. During a barrel roll with +4G´s I ended on top of him because of the car like shoulder part (it just stretched out while rolling). That was too much for me, but I still see him smiling and hearing making fun of me up to even months after LOL. The slow roll will keep me in my seat when I'm giving this another shot, so I'm taking this for a next aerobatics flight as a great idea.
      If you wanna have a good laugh, look for the video on my channel with the plane upside down (it's a Fuji FA200). Hope to see some more of your adventure(s) with Spencer! This was great to watch!
