Looks cool; what brand is it?
Also, the edits you put it during the reveal were fancy, but spread them out just a bit. Remember that even though you've seen the footage more than enough during the editing process, your audience is seeing it all for the first time and therefore needs a little more time to take it all in. Try to leave at least 2 seconds between edits if you can. You can still do those quick edits if you want but try to leave in at least one shot that lasts long enough for the viewer to focus in on so that we can fully grasp what the footage is showing.

I really like that the center crease isn't overly pronounced like what I see on most fiberglass units. This might be a route I take with my Regal some day. My air box is a bit on the small side right now.
Glad I could help with the advice. Hard to believe it's been 5 years since I took video editing courses; I really miss 'em.

The hood is a Goodmark Steel Cowl Induction Hood Scoops Summit part number GMKSCOOP04. I am constantly trying to get better so really appreciate the constructive criticism and I fully intend to fix this for future videos.
I had to pull the sides of the scoop out a little to spread out the center crease. It happened a little organically while trying to get the scoop o follow the hood curvature.
I have been watching a ton of videos about video editing recently. Hopefully one day I can start making good videos. For now, I'll just have to settle for mildly useful.

how tall is that hood scoop?

why not cut the hood and put the flange under the hood

That would make the hood pretty flimsy. There would only be an inch or so of material in the front and rear of the scoop. I really thought about it. I also considered the benefit of having the breather stick above the hood and how it could act as a cold air intake by using the hood to separate the breather from the engine heat. Ultimately, It boils down to the fact that I like the way it looks. I will admit, I wish I didn't have to cut the hood at all so I could maintain some type of sleeper status.
