    Love the review!
The switch and magnet are on those sides by design actually because most folks are right handed. The switch with the red (or not red) indicates that it is tournament legal (slope and elements are not legal in a tournament). So they designed it so the switch is visible to others and not covered by peoples right hand while shooting the target.

My golf instructor is good friends with a representative from Bushnell and was able to get the Pro XE for me for only $325, talk about a hell of a deal!

I won't be looking for a range finder for a long time, but when I do it will be a top notch Bushnell. Still enjoying the blue tees range finder I won on this channel, use it every single round.

Your opening the box segment is refreshing but would’ve liked to see some actual yardage testing and comparisons
I have a Bushnell Hybrid which I bought used on @2ndswing. The build quality is amazing. Saved over $150 from new retail. It Has a similar case which is great and secure.
The Ability to have both GPS and Laser in one unit is the best of both worlds! There’s a reason why this hybrid unit is still in production and it’s probably 10 years old and running.
There’s several times where I don’t have a view to the pin but my GPS gives me front middle and back distances to the green. Laser works off battery and GPS works off a micro usb charge and last for 2 rounds.
I’ve had older model Bushnell laser rangefinders and they’re the best

Great review, thank you! Just picked it up, sure it's a little pricey but it is an investment. Love the features and the simplicity. It replaces a Jolt Z6 (that is still working after almost 10 years!). Can't wait to try it out next week! Again, a little expensive but if it will last me close to the 10 years my Z6 did it will be well worth it!

Bought this used for $230... Which is absolutely amazing for price even in 2022. Though it definitely looks used, after putting a spigen case on my Pro XE, it looks new and works as such.

I'm glad you specifically called out who this is best for.
Hell, I'm lucky to keep it in my own fairway.
Forget getting it within a couple of yards. LOL.

Just for the record : contrary to popular believe, high heat and high humidity actually makes the ball fly higher and longer. It's science.

I have used the Bushnell V5 for about 4 months. Today, it stopped working. Turns out dew drops dripped directly from the golf cart roof unto the sight, easily penetrating the unit and shorting it out. Not kidding, a few drops of dew. I expected more from a premium product.

Thanks for the review. You spend over 9 minutes before you mention the performance of the rangefindeer though. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I don't pretend to know how to do it, but actual shots of what the user sees in the viewfinder would be very helpful. Also...shots showing how fast it picks up the flag would be nice, too. Might also be nice to know any particular "quirks"...like do different colored flags give it problems...does a tree behind the flag make it difficult to get a yardage...things like that.
I just returned a Blue Tees Series 3 Max rangefinder as I simply couldn't get it to work on the course after 10 attempts (and a couple more by my golf partner who has experience with rangefinders).
So this review was interesting to me.

Definitely for the precise golfer who connects perfectly with the ball 8 or 9 hole times out of 10. For me, just the distance within 2 or 3 yards would suffice.

I hear that. Ended up getting the pro v5shift on a Black Friday deal instead but it should still be miles better than the garmin g80 I’ve been using.

Hi, is the Diopter Dial to be difficult to turn? It’s taking quite a bit of effort to turn it. 😢 i hope it's normal

I have the blue tee’s S3 and am underwhelmed by it’s fit, finish, quality of construction. I’d love to get my money back and put that toward the Bushnell.

I took my BT S3 Max, returned it, and got this monster. I had issues with both my BT S3 Max and didn’t want to make that same mistake with the third one so got the top of the line Bushnell. So far so good.
Totally disagree with his statement oh who it’s for though. It’s for everyone and anyone who just wants nice quality built stuff. Good luck with yours.

Would you consider a video on comparing different yardage technologies?
    - Range Finders like Bushnell
    - GPS
    -Watches
    - On phone apps
    - On golf carts

Good review... I love Bushnell rangefinders, but have always been too expensive. A year and 1/2 ago. I went with Callaway Tour-S for $350. And it's been awesome. Love it.

I hear you man but you said it yourself.."a year and a half ago." If you are using something for such a long period of time and likely longer, just splurge the extra 150 :)

does anyone know how the elements adjustment works? for example, if I go to colorado and am now at much higher elevation, how does the adjustment work? it is based on a certain elevation? it must have default parameters for the elements to then make the adjustments. does anyone that has one help me out? thanks

  • @DCottin
    @DCottin 2 года назад +1

It always jolts. Read the instructions. You have to scan from one side to the next and it jolts on the shortest point, which will always be the flag when you are unobstructed. If people would read, they’d know.
