I loved how Jess kept eating and eating, she loves our food. Even the way she she dipped the plantain, as if she had some before. They both did amazing. Fun content
JASMINE I was laughing so hard. It’s so good when individuals from different culture can enjoy another person’s culture and have so much fun. The two young ladies deserves an A+🎉
Food and Football(Soccer) is one the things that bring people together. Your food presentation is on point. Thanks promoting the Ghanaian food to your friends. It shows clearly on their face, they're loving it.
I love Jess, she is working, trying her best just to get it in her mouth! She had a little problem with the cow foot, but she tried it! I think okra stew would give anyone a challenge who isn’t use to it… 💕🙏🏽
I really laughed......your friends had a difficult time eating with their hands. In Africa we are used to it. I loved when you explained how to scoop the okra sauce. Proudly African
I loved this video!! Their energy was great and the fact they kept eating shows they truly enjoyed the food and wanted to experience the new foods. Great job ladies!!
Point is the jollof rice can be put together with the ripe plantain and even the beans sauce all together on one plate and enjoyed together as one sweet dish. They don't necessarily have to eat them separately.
Jas what a gentle and thoughtful introduction to Ghanaian Food Culture !! I was laughing with you all because I could see myself being as challenged as the girls were, in fact, they were better than me, I would have hit the spoon right away food looked too tasty to play with. Nice video great content.
The cooked corn flour; the plantain and the cow leg are also a part of Malawian dishes. There's another dish which comprises tripe and intestines: The intestines are wound around the "bathing-towel like" tripe and cooked. It goes very well with the cooked corn flour which is called Nsima. Tasty!
I've laughed throughout this video. It must be an amazing experience for your friends. Plantain and beans happens to be it favourite of many first time foreign eaters. Thanks for putting GH food on the map. Will be nice to have them in GH to experience different cultures. Amazing video Jas!
Good friends and good food are always good vibes. You've inspired me and my American siblings to gather, and make some authentic Ghanaian dishes together. First up is Nkatenqwan with poundo cassava/plantain fufu. Thanks to you Lady Jasmine for giving my family a push to try new recipes, and for inspiring us to do so. Awesome video as always! 😎🙏🙏😎
😂😂😂The banku and okra was like a punishment to them but they couldn't stop eating it. 😂I laughed throughout this video i had to download it to watch whenever I'm sad. I love u girls ❤❤❤😅😅😅
Wow Jasmine I am so glad you cook a feast for your friends.you brought cultural and diversity to Australia. In Melbourne they don't have African shops so I was surprised because I didn't enjoy Melbourne I promise myself I wouldn't go back there again 😉 well done girl.
Jasmine!!! This is very funny!!!! Sometimes, I care my kids by telling them I will give them cow feet and they all scream " nooooooo" At least they try and love some of the food!!! Thx Jasmine, all the ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️
I think they scream no because they are thinking of just the foot. Maybe if you cook it for them then tell them it's cow foot as they eat it, they might be ok. They are probably thinking of a foot in their plate.
😂😂😂 OMG but they eat the banku and okro with a spoon due to it being slippery, I had a friend who eats fufu and soup with a spoon even the beans and plantians too. But what a nice experience for your friends 🥂👍
Love it Jasmine, good on you, I'm pretty sure most Australians should be able to get into Ghanian food, and glad to see the girls picked up the banku skills in no time, and the cow foot, shouldn't be an issue, its just like osso bucco, or veal shin bone, and sucking the marrow out of it! Of course Red red shined, but that seemed an expensive shop at the African store, Eiishh! I'll be sure to try some lamb in my next okro stew.
This was such a fun and happy video. I love their reactions. Thanks for sharing. Let me know when u visit America so we can meet up. I'd love to learn these dishes and waakye. I love them but don't know to cook them.
Your friends seem so lovely and respectful to the culture but theres something about Jess that seems so sweet. They both give off good people vibes. I love that for you
Lol Jess is quite and enjoying the food , there's something about her like she's been doing this for a long time, she's so natural eating with her hand. Way to go Jess , we gonna find you an African husband 😜😆 next step for her is to learn how to cook African food. The other one is just good at chuckling. But beside that I like people who like to try new things. Way to go Jasmine for introducing your friends to African foods.👍🥰 . I'm not from Ghana but from the other part of west Africa but still enjoy all African foods.
