I didn't know Larry Hama was into Maschinen Krieger (aka Ma.K ZbV). I love those models. Got a bunch of them in my kit stash. It's a sort of WW2 setting with mech suits (though it's a couple hundred years in the future and WW4).
Pretty much everyone in my little neighborhood is a good ol'fashion Gun Owner, so in 8 years I've never locked my doors.. Peace isn't a Privilege it's a Responsibility.
Damn Bobby, sorry your trip was so rough. I know what that mega jet lag is like. I was stationed in Japan for 3 years (05-08), flew home to visit once a year and adjusting sucked. Sounds like you had it BAD. I know how good it feels coming home after something like that. Deployments mostly. Welcome home!!!
Oh WOW! The DFW sounds reasonably afffordable to attend. Of course there is the travel and lodging.... And then there is all the cool stuff that will be sold there.... Still seems reasonably affordable to at least get in.
Yeah, I probably spend more going to SDCC just down the street lol I will make it to one of these out of state cons someday. Not this year though, we have a trip to Disney world the same week and it's been planned for over a year.
