Really was nice, thanks ive been in the process in playing at 55, several months absorbing all i can but not no hurry to learn to fast. Enjoy the process. This helps slot thank you
When somebody says play something I just play a super fast ripping solo ending on the root and shaking the hell outta it while throwing my picking hand in the air
At 3:30, the chord "x.x.0.7.7.x is called "...a true representation of our root chord in the key of D major." However, this chord has no 5th -- no 'A' note. How, then, is it a true representation of the root chord in D major?
Am I the only guy on the planet that switched the first and second finger on a D chord? I can’t even do the way it’s shown on the thumbnail. It doesn’t make sense and doesn’t lend itself to move to other chords. Oh well, 59 years probably won’t be changing anytime soon.
It is a small manufacturer from Spain called; "Alhambra Guitars." This model is their Z-Nature CW EZ Electro-Classical. Amazing guitar for the money. Outside of the Canadian Company, "Long & McQuade" I'm not sure who really carries them in North America /USA. They seem to be more popular in Europe.
Man, you are so far ahead of beginner ability. Particularly when it comes to language. You called those notes out so fast it seems you think I already know that stuff. If I were far enough along to follow you, I would already be where you are leading.
I walked by a guitar player on the sidewalk. He told me he only knew very little guitar, but he just kept playing that over and over, and people gave him money, that was 30 years ago, I'll bet he's really good now 😂😊

How do I pay for this?
Thanks!
Always great lesson
Thanks! Appreciate your support, and I'm glad to know that you enjoy the lessons. All the best!! - Andrew
I used this idea and in about 5 min. I wrote a lovely little riff. So simple, but it totally hits exactly what you need to make a musical connection.
When someone says "play something," I immediately break into Slayer's War Ensemble.
Same!
…or Meshuggah’s Bleed.
🤣😂 100% 🤘
Lol
Of course you do…

Love it! That s so simple and emotional, I‘ll include this to my daily jam session. Thanks a lot, you will be donated.
Wow that blows my mind with the melody lines added. Will be practicing this.
Loverly little lesson
Beautiful melody
Pretty cool! Sounds beautiful and it is true that it would be impressive to play these movements to anyone. Great video.
Great stuff! Thank you.
Very simple. It didn't sound quite as good on my strat as on the classical. You have exalent tone, which I find hard to achieve on RUclips.
Great sounding guitar, great lesson. God bless.
That sounds beautiful .
One of my favorite cheap tricks to really sound pro.. 😁 good stuff , and it is really pretty sounding. i use this with C and F as well.
Thank you 😊
When someone asks me to play something...
My mind instantly goes blank!!!😅😅😅😅
As soon as they see my guitarsssssssss
Someone wants to hear me play something.
I play the star spangled banner.
1st tune I learned to play
That´s so cool even I can do that (then everyone can do it 😆). Thumb up.
Just starting have been wanting to learn to play for awhile.
Tyvm. Im getting back into guitar at 60. I love this. Beautiful ! Do you have a class or suggestion on how to write this onto manuscript paper?
Simple and awesome!!!!
When someone says "play something, " I break into....
Stairway to Heaven 😂
Awesome 👍🏻
Very very clean
Great Lesson for Anyone!
Sweet! 😎👌
When asked to play something I jump into Santana's Samba Pati
When somebody says play something I just play a super fast ripping solo ending on the root and shaking the hell outta it while throwing my picking hand in the air
Very Rod Stewart sounding 😊
I usually go with blackbird. It looks harder than it is
Was that the acoustic guitar song used in The Walking Dead?
@@matthorwell no, its a beatles song sung by McCartney
Beautiful stuff. New Guy might wish there were fret dots to help track where you are playing.
Oh good! I always default at Sweet Home Alabama intro.
Since you didn’t touch the 5th & 6th string you can play this little tune on the baritone ukulele with standard tuning.
At 3:30, the chord "x.x.0.7.7.x is called "...a true representation of our root chord in the key of D major." However, this chord has no 5th -- no 'A' note. How, then, is it a true representation of the root chord in D major?
That's a a beautiful sounding guitar in you competent hands. What guitar is that btw?
Nothing better than tears in heaven.
Cocaine
When I get asked to play something I'll start with Quando Quando Quando then a instrumental by Hank Marvin
When someone asks me to play something I break out War Pigs complete with a siren that I carry around just in case I get asked

My mind usually goes blank and I default to playing Cliffs of Dover.
Reminds me of Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.
Hi, what kind of classical guitar you are using on this video? I noticed is a not that wide in the neck!

Just discovered that Sweetwater [dot] com carries them in the USA.

No that havent hant me.
Cool
I started your 28 day guitar plan and it has changed my life!

the picking looks difficult
It would be a lot easier to follow if you used a guitar with dots on it
When someone asks me to play something, I say, "I can't play in front of anyone, so no."
Hmmmm....when asked to play something on guitar i play the brandenburg concerto with my eyes closed
I walked by a guitar player on the sidewalk. He told me he only knew very little guitar, but he just kept playing that over and over, and people gave him money, that was 30 years ago, I'll bet he's really good now 😂😊
Thanks but you never say what strings your plucking
Yes in this case you'll have to go to patreon and pay for it
You should know your strings, 1 through 6 1 is a E,,2nd is A 3rd is D 4th is G 5th is B, 6th is a E. Open tuning ,,,you can do this.
👍💯
Sounds seriously good.
So don't play a song people know, just noodle around. They will love that.
It’s kind of hard to follow what you’re doing because the guitar in this video doesn’t have fret markers.
Def not for beginner, talks fast, and uses advanced terminology for chord comparison.
Too fast for a beginner
Too basic. Sounds easy
