RUclipsrs don’t do that as often and it’s fun to see the variety and also seeing ones that I have never seen.
A couple years ago I got caught up in the whole frag-comm discussion of "Having too many fragrances". At the time I put together an amazing collection, but eventually fell into the trap and felt guilty so I sold most of it. Worst mistake ever. I learned the money part isn't the issue, money comes and moeny goes, I'll save up for what I want, but having any fragrance at my disposal when I want to wear it and how much I can spray means so much to me, and selling off my collection taught me that. I'm currently rebuilding and will never make that mistake again. You can never have too many fragrances! Amazing collection!
i’ve been into fragrances for many years & I love finding niche gems, old discontinued rare imported scents etc. & i’ve never come close to losing control & impulse buying like this. I was trying to find rare unique blends or brands exclusive to europe but they are all from any common fragrances aisle. I wonder if your love for owning the fragrances are stronger than your love for fragrances in general
Loved your honesty.. I love my fragrances.. Have about 120 bottles... To be honest I have bought many from youtubers recommended on there channels and to be honest some have been garbage.. I think personally now I want to add more niche into my collection.. Alot of designer fragrances smell the same nowadays.. But to be honest having a small budget once a month doesn't get you much especially niche.. Everything I like is about 2 months budget for me 😂 last purchase for me was ganymede... But I do do buy alot of samples.. Problem is that I like most samples I try so my wants list is just getting bigger.. 😭
Thank you for the tour of your collection. I am wrought with jealousy, and equally astounded! I would give anything to have even one ATH fragrance, but you even have mods! So 😎!
I was at about 500 bottles and I gave away about 100 bottles to various friends last year. It's still a concerning amount when people see it for the first time in person. And my organization is absolutely trash, but I've embraced that.
@travisn346 I've been collecting longer than I've been watching folks on RUclips, and for me it's a big combination of things. Definitely not an obsession as I never let my collection get over a certain aize, I think there's a big combination of things. Part of it is nostalgia, there's certain things I can smell that just take me back in time or remind me of a person. On the same note, when someone wears something that smells really good or interesting, it just adds a whole layer to them. Then there's the artistry of it, I love how simple the act of making a fragrance is and yet how magical it can be if you do it just right. Mainly though, if I'm being really honest, I think of a fragrance as a bit of personal armor sometimes. I'm a giant guy at 6"6. My shoe size is big enough that I can't just walk into a store and find a collection to try out. Clothing is a similar issue, when you're my height and size, a lot of department stores cater to the folks smaller than me, so I constantly see things I would wear if they made my size, but they don't. Even if they did, I have terrible fashion sense for myself. The way I smell however, always puts me in a different mood dependings on what I'm wearing and the truth is, I'm not looking at my own outfits, but I can always smell myself. So my mood and my fragrance are symbiotic. Sometimes I'll wear something because I'm feeling a certain way, sometimes I'll wear something because I want to feel a certain way. The reason I watch some of the fragrance RUclips channels that I do is not because I need recommendations or anything, sometimes maybe on a new release if I trust their previous thoughts on other things then yes; I primarily just enjoy other people being passionate about the same things I am. Same with my watching videos about writing or philosophy or anything like that. There's times to learn, and times to have the shared experience of your passions. With fragrance I have maybe a half dozen people I know in my personal life who have the same level of interest that I do, most of the people I know think it's curious. So yeah, I like the whole idea of how scent can play a part in your day and your experience, how it can elevate or ruin a mood. And have a wide selection for me is no different than someone who owns dozens of pairs of shoes or a ton of jewelry or a massive wardrobe.
@marcusskyfall I hate to say it, but some of the bottles I've drained over the years have been Aventus, Guerlain L'omme Ideal Cologne, Purple Label, Imaginary Authors Mosaic, Guerlain Vetiver Extreme, and Versace Man Eau Fraiche. These are all extremely easy reaches for me. I wish I could say it was something cool like Amouage Imitation Man or Diptyque Oyedo or Byredo Slow Dance or any number of other scents, but the truth is I can easily like something more than some of these others and just not wear it as much because the occasion doesn't call for it. Actually, here, Dirty Secret Time: My most used fragrance of all time is Calvin Klein Eternity. I don't wear it very much any more, but when I was a kid it was the first fragrance I became obsessed with and for like a decade straight until I ventured into other fragrances, it was one of maybe three things I ever wore along with Azzaro Chrome and maybe one or two other oddballs. Then I discovered Ralph Lauren Purple Label and that made me want to smell everything else everywhere.
Wow! Nice video. I had 40 fragrances at one time in my collection. I decided to narrow down my collection to my 12 favorite and most complimented fragrances over the years. My affordable designer fragrance collection is tailored around 6 Cold/Cool weather, and 6 Warm/Hot weather. I am very happy with my 12 choices. I also keep one backup bottle of my 5 favorite fragrances to wear.
Can't believe you've only got 1 penhaligons fragrance 😮. I'd definitely recommend halfeti cedar, Babylon, and sports car club(discontinued) I really like constantinople too, but I don't own that one.
I have just under thirty bottle. But I'm very particular about what i buy. I like having one, maaaybe two scents of a certain profile and taking my time to settle on them. I can see myself getting to fifty total perhaps. Hello from the US desert Southwest!
I have been with this hobby since 1990. I have never gone past 20. My current collection is : Dior homme intense Lventure (replacement for aventus) Ombre leather Clinique Happy Tom Ford Noir Extreme Artisan pure Sauvage EDP Iam toying with buying Versace Man eau Fraiche ( as a replacement for Sauvage)
50 is the cut off point for me. If I want to get a new fragrance I sacrifice an old one. If I absolutely don't want to get rid of any then I will just get a sample when I can. But i strictly stick to 50 at most and sell before I buy I think that's how I've managed to keep things manageable and curb the itch for a new fragrance 😂
I was going that route, but then winter time came around, then new frags and flankers, then sales… I look at it as, it’s a better addiction than alcohol, crack or heroine. 😊😊
@@flapb2069 yeah some crac smokers blow 500$ in one night yet 500$ in fragrances will last 5-20 years depending on what you get. Plus some become rare or discontinued an can make the price increase. Plus you can swap or sell them to others it's a win win

Chris! Watching your collection video! The one thing i keep thinking is i hope no earthquake nor hurricane! And when will you make a video of your vaulted/hidden gems?! Amazing collection!
Sheesh. I have around 60 different colognes, & I thought I was a hoarder. I love the idea of figuring out what scent I’m gonna wear when going out, or work. It’s as fun as picking an outfit. I gotta ask. Do you keep the boxes as well? I usually throw mine away. I kept my Naxos box, & some JPG tins, but all others I got rid of.
Yh most boxes aren’t worth keeping but if they’re made of wood or a tin then they’re worth keeping. For example, the Versace blue tin was always worth keeping. I ended up using it as a pen holder back in my school days lol.
If it's a "hyped" frag with potential for a high value trade or resale, I'd keep the box. i.e. Dior Homme Or set a time to decide if it's staying in your collection like 6 months to a year, if it stays, trash the box. Not sure I'd buy a resale w/o a box. Just my thought process.
I spent basically the whole video pausing to look at the physical media collection. Hard to see it all, but from what I can, I approved wholeheartedly.
I thought you had over 1000 there as you took us through them. Can't quite believe there are only 750 there! I probably have 150 @ 25 ml or above plus another 50 or so manufacturers 10-20ml bottles. I have long realised I won't use up most full bottles so those smaller manufacturers sizes when they do them are great for me. Then of course there are decants too. My average price per fragrance is much less than yours as with expensive fragrances I will buy a decant instead as I don't think any fragrance is worth more than £150 (and most far less). My average bottle is probably around £35 but this is not me buying crap but taking advantages of Molinards for that price (thanks All Beauty) or Zilli for £25 & La Manufacture for £29 (thanks TK Maxx). I'm looking to scale it down now as I want to get past the stage where 5 days a week are sampling or first wears from a newly purchased bottle and only 2 days are a wear of a previous purchase. Something the other way round would be good. 2 days a week on new fragrances and 5 using what I already have
I have recently started my collection and I only have 48 but I’m getting there!!! Definitely might be a little unhealthy but we continue forward!!!!! I love your content and I’m glad I found you haha!! Keep up the good work!!!!
Some of those bottles are probably worth quite a bit at this point & some of the ATH original batches may be worth even more if you're legally able to sell them after he realeases ATHUS. I imagine there will be quite some demand for such bottles 👍🏻 Appreciate the behind the scenes look. Also Appreciate your honesty about not necessarily being OCD about your organization. You are after all human, and that takes a TON OF STORAGE SPACE! THANKS FOR THE COOL VID
Great channel, great content. It is rare to find honest reviews. Many channels keep plugging the same fragrances as they are clearly sponsored or getting freebies.
I honestly thought you have about 800, so I was close lol. I subbed because I believe in the vision. I believe if I didn't do RUclips I probably wouldn't have over 20 bottles you right. but I always need for reference. true gentleman and hard worker. thank you brother
I've been at this for about 7 years, but a frag lover for much much longer. I started collecting when I found out about discounters. Once I knew you could buy them on the cheap it was on. However, I am very picky, therefore I own about 150. It's 75 winter and 75 warm weather.
Chris, your rough organization around brand/collection is really not as disorganized as you suggested. But no matter how you do it, as long as you can find what you're looking for, who cares how it's organized -- or not?! My collection is about 200+, and it's crudely organized by style. I also have them catalogued in a database, which gives me the flexibility of looking at them in various orders or filtered by style. But with so many fragrances, I sometimes have trouble deciding which one to wear! And you have a LOT more than me! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who struggles with that "first-world problem." 😅
Wow. I have 24 full bottles but tons of samples and maybe another 20 or so travel sizes. Love the vintage Shalimar! Even if it’s 70s or 80s the juice color looks like it’s had time to marinate. I bet it smells intoxicating!
You should consider making a proper display with risers, LEDS, etc. The way you have it set up is more like hoarding than a collection lol. I used to have my collection stored away in boxes in a drawer and when I made a proper display I appreciated them so much more
I expected you to be over 1,000. Given that this is part of your vocation/avocation, I'm not surprised by your numbers. Interesting. My collection is much smaller, though getting a little large for me at the moment. Not counting samples, I'm just reaching 40. I'm looking to cut back on purchasing, though there's one or two I'm considering for the spring/summer. Last week I did get my noise on Anonim's Silver Ambergris and was impressed.
I started my fragrance journey 4 years ago I’ve accumulated over 3hundred plus that’s with me giving away frags in between time my collection is spread out throughout my house too in my car my garage my kids use them as well its something we bond over I’ve got them into world of fragrance
Thanks for this fun video, I always love watching peoples collections, especially since I’ve been collecting for about 2 years now. Based on your video footage I would’ve thought you owned about 300 fragrances so I’m guessing not all 750 were actually filmed? perhaps there were a few more than two lying about the house😂 Anyway, great video, thanks!
Great video! Aleays interesting to see the different rabbit holes that reviewers explore with all the different houses. I just started my channel and I’m still trying to find my rhythm. But I’ve been watching and collecting since March of 2021. I have about 350 bottles, 10-15 back up bottles and about 20 decants. So, modest by the standards of our little community here, but probably out of control by an outsider’s standards. But I’m not in debt or anything like that. I think I’ll be slowing down significantly this year- I want to explore more niche and indie this year, only a few designers I’m interested in. Thanks for the vjdeo and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Crazy collection! Here’s me with 11 full bottles and 15 samples 😂 I think I’m going to take it slow though. Every now and then I get the urge to buy a bottle or samples but I’ll only buy something I really really like. I reckon I’ll slowly make my way up to 50-70 and stop.
Don't get carried away. You don't need as many. I have 100 and I barely use 20/30. Just buy and keep what you really like and use. Avoid the hype from RUclipsrs
I, too, am running out of space 😅 I need to give it a rest! I thought there was around 650 in your collection. Well, that was the last time I was at yours!
I am looking for some advice. I want to buy flowerbomb as a birthday gift for someone when is the best time and what is the best place to buy? The giftee's birthday is around valentine's day so I know to expect sales then. Based on your past experiences which retailer has the best sales/deals on this product? I prefer to shop Macy, Sephora, or Ulta but can go to nordstrom or bloomingdales if needed. I don't know what size bottle to buy because that would depend on the deals available
Maybe get some higher shelves that are abit deeper that should sort the storage issue. I'd definitely sell a few on ones that your never gonna use again otherwise its a waste. Overtime maybe sell 100 or so that way you have space for new fragrances
Brave video mate! The IKEA shelves have a weight limit and I would hate to see a new video on "how many bottles did I lose in the collapse . . ." You need to strengthen, upgrade and expand, LOL! I'm trying to hold my collection under 100 bottles. Using the one in one out rule now and saving for premium upgrades. Great channel!
I haven't counted all of my bottles. I'm not sure I can find them all. I've only really been collecting since March 2022, but I know I have enough to last a few lifetimes 😅

That's a great collection if you can do it but as for me, I doubt I'd ever make a decision on what to wear and I'm late often enough as it is. Mine is around 30 and almost all niche (about 1/3 ATH). I buy a lot of samples but if its not a love then I don't buy a bottle, although I may change that if I ever decide to start a channel.

Rarely apply 2nd time through the day.

Ah interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
i’ve been into fragrances for many years & I love finding niche gems, old discontinued rare imported scents etc. & i’ve never come close to losing control & impulse buying like this. I was trying to find rare unique blends or brands exclusive to europe but they are all from any common fragrances aisle. I wonder if your love for owning the fragrances are stronger than your love for fragrances in general
The perfume guy has the best collection of all time
Loved your honesty..
So 😎!
i have 45 bottles, and like 8 testers (either samples or travel sprays)
I was at about 500 bottles and I gave away about 100 bottles to various friends last year. It's still a concerning amount when people see it for the first time in person. And my organization is absolutely trash, but I've embraced that.
Do you enjoy wearing them or do you just collect because of an obsession?
Which is your most worn?
Do frags lose the smell in strength if not used within 24months have you noticed this
Wow!
Great video!!! Finally someone that actually gives a number, not the traditional "I have over 1000 fragrances" RUclipsr. 🔥
Funny you pick up Bogart pour home at 9.24 as this is the frag I selected for today at the office. One of my cheap blind buys, well worth the money
I only have 5. Don’t need too many honestly . Just a small and elite collection
My current collection is :
Dior homme intense
Lventure (replacement for aventus)
Ombre leather
Clinique Happy
Tom Ford Noir Extreme
Artisan pure
Sauvage EDP
Iam toying with buying Versace Man eau Fraiche ( as a replacement for Sauvage)
I used to have around 3.5k bottles. Now I'm with 10. I don't allow me to have more.
Im the same way but i chose to not pass 20
I was going that route, but then winter time came around, then new frags and flankers, then sales… I look at it as, it’s a better addiction than alcohol, crack or heroine. 😊😊
@@flapb2069 yeah some crac smokers blow 500$ in one night yet 500$ in fragrances will last 5-20 years depending on what you get. Plus some become rare or discontinued an can make the price increase. Plus you can swap or sell them to others it's a win win
@@flapb2069exactly! And like my mom always said, at least it’s not meth.
I've only been doing this for a year and a half and I have over seventy now. It is an issue.
Such a great video! I’ve gone down the rabbit hole, with 200+ myself (spot on with the Wife comment, no more room!) love the “leaning tower of Old Spice” as well! Keep up the great work Chris!
My OCD nature needs to come and organize this lot and polish the bottles lol I have 60 niche and 12 designer I tend to stick to specific houses mainly creed PDM amouage and acqua di parma roja xerjoff bond no 9 penhaligons Tom Ford Carolina Herrera private collection
At last, Been waiting ages to see your collection. Love it !!
Right now I have 66 bottles..1 backup...I love them all😊!
If it's a "hyped" frag with potential for a high value trade or resale, I'd keep the box. i.e. Dior Homme
Or set a time to decide if it's staying in your collection like 6 months to a year, if it stays, trash the box.
Appreciate you showing the collection how it is!
Caramel vanilla and tobacco sounds great! Incredible collection!
Sound collection and warts n all! Proper bloke! Love ya!
Some of those bottles are probably worth quite a bit at this point & some of the ATH original batches may be worth even more if you're legally able to sell them after he realeases ATHUS. I imagine there will be quite some demand for such bottles 👍🏻
Appreciate the behind the scenes look.
Chris I have the same problem mine is sooo disorganised as well so don't worry about it
If you want more space just put a half shelf in some of the compartments because there's a lot of headspace on those shelves.
I honestly thought you have about 800, so I was close lol. I subbed because I believe in the vision. I believe if I didn't do RUclips I probably wouldn't have over 20 bottles you right. but I always need for reference. true gentleman and hard worker. thank you brother
Favourite video you’ve done so far!
I've been at this for about 7 years, but a frag lover for much much longer. I started collecting when I found out about discounters. Once I knew you could buy them on the cheap it was on. However, I am very picky, therefore I own about 150. It's 75 winter and 75 warm weather.
When you collect more than you can use, it’s time for a spiritual journey 😊
I used to have my collection stored away in boxes in a drawer and when I made a proper display I appreciated them so much more
Yeah that’s a good idea 👍🏻
So envious of that full bottle of The Siren!
Amazing collection Chris!
I like those Serge Lutens. I hope you talk about those some more.
I have close to 100. I look to trade or sell ones that are redundant.
I can't wait for an epic declutter.
Based on your video footage I would’ve thought you owned about 300 fragrances so I’m guessing not all 750 were actually filmed? perhaps there were a few more than two lying about the house😂
Anyway, great video, thanks!
Here’s me with 11 full bottles and 15 samples 😂
I think I’m going to take it slow though.
Outstanding video! And amazing collection!
Amazing collection. Thanks for sharing. Regards from Namibia.
Makes me wanna go count mine. 😊
Wish more RUclipsrs would do this.
I’d get some 🔥 content out of such a disaster 😂
I’ve got about 150 but have sold and given away so many. Still continue to add more than I need though
I’ve got about 12 and thought I was over doing it lol but thanks for sharing your collection
Well done mate!!! I’m sooo jealous !
I haven't counted all of my bottles. I'm not sure I can find them all. I've only really been collecting since March 2022, but I know I have enough to last a few lifetimes 😅
I started collecting during the pandemic... This year, I sold 75% on eBay, and my seller hub said $28,000! 😱
I have watched your channel for years, and I think that you are the most entertaining frag youtuber! Some people think that I have too many Frags at over 60 different kinds but I have slowed way down buying them! I'm more into chasing my dreams of winning a World Championship in Vegas and retiring than about anything besides God! You should make a few more family videos because they were very cute?Lucky You and hope that they are doing well?😊⭐🌟🌠🍀
Family is doing great thanks 👍🏻
Perfume Parlour kicked off my obsession. I have them to blame and thank 😂
As far as legit bottles I only have around 20 though that is seemingly growing at pace.
Just bought my first niche this week in Aventus Absolu!
If I’d counted my Perfume Parlour I think I would hit the 1k mark!
😂 @@FRAGMENTAL
Waiting for this video to come out was like waiting for the 2nd coming lol
Great collection fella & expensive one , but pls get yourself a duster .
I have about 10 frags, im pretty basic but it seems like enough. Its always hot where I live here in Australia so i haven't bothered venturing into the winter frangrances yet ha ha
I would be happy having just the samples and discovery sets you have :)) (event though I have a small collection of my own)
My fav youtuber atm ❤️
No frederic malle, or missed it?
Wow what an amazing collection you have there! I saw 1 J-Scent bottle, how is that brand? I wouldn't call it a mess, rather organized chaos. : )
At 50+ with Ralph's Club Elixir, Boss Bottled Elixir and my latest Jo Milano Game of Spades Royale (clone of Bond no 9 TriBeCa. Which I didn't notice any Game of Spades perfumes.
Couldn’t help but notice the Optimus Prime in the back ground. Love it.
I have acquired around 94 fragrances in one year. My first one was 1million elixir and my latest one is jpg elixir.
One million elixir is so damn good
Chris saying he's got a small collection when i've only got 11 😂 In all seriousness, thanks for showing us your collection. I love seeing other collections and especially when we've been seeing them in the background for so long so it's nice to get a close up. Nice that we got to see everything and not just a pan through of the collection as well. Although there is no clear organisation, as long as you know where everything is, thats the important bit. Awesome fragrance collection 👍
If you are going to sell your used fragrances, where is the best place to do it? I assume eBay but is there somewhere else that I don't know about.
Hello Chris😎 Always wanted to know how big your collection is. Cool video! Unfortunately, I only have 330 perfume bottles at home. I am still in beginner status haha😅
I had around 80 and downsized to 30.
That collection is Ace!!!
Hoarders are usually unorganized.. nonjudgmental 😂.. i have about 150 full bottles.. im officially on pause in 2024.. going to try and enjoy what i have. At times i look at it proudly, other times i ask myself, what are you doing. My only rule, is when i purchase a fragrance, its a direct purchase with debit card, no fragrance on credit. But ya your collection is wild
I caught the bug in 2019 & I'm at 200 bottles now. But I've slowed down & I'm trying to make wiser selections on my purchases. I'm going to go in a completely different direction. This is an addictive hobby that's gone wrong 😆
These 24 minutes gone through so quick watching your collection. Whats more stunning to me is, that you put quite some dents into almost all of them. I have around 150 full bottles and collecting over 5 years now intensely and most of them I did a few sprays. I am a weak sprayer, usually 3 sprays. And one fragrance per day. Rarely apply 2nd time through the day.
I’m in the neighborhood of your collection at about 700. The storage struggle is real.
I know right 🙈
Cracking collection, quick question what is the watch you wear?
Tissot PRX
Looks cracking on you mate, might need to have a look at one. No long found your channel and you are putting out some quality content. Watching the all the best for all seasons and creased laughing. Cheers
