Had a truck like this first edition nitro fell into my pool dried it good back then but I don’t think can save nitro motor after falling into pool for couple seconds.
Picked one of these up cheap but missing the rims has a chewed up spur gear and missing some of the servos. But my question what size rims and tires are on yours
I have the nitro rustler which has the slipper clutch. i just don't get the whole purpose of the slipper clutch thing. I noticed you run your tight which they say not. Could you please help me understand the function of it. i set mine to what traxxas recommended which is bottom it out and 1 to 1/4 turn out but you can hear it slipping. it has speed but i feel if it was bottom out like yours it would be better. Any help is very much appreciated.
As long as your one way bearing and backing plate from the ez start is still good all you need is the pullstart. www.hobbytown.com/traxxas-pull-starter-complete-trx-2.5-2.5r-3.3-revo-tra5170/p-xqynhdfqcqsbg4yz
He’s back!!! Love the look of the pull start!
Im ready to get this thing back in action!
I’m glad you made it back.
With this video I could absolutely do this myself!
Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to seeing the difference in how it drives and what speed you can get out of it now
Me too!

Take a part the motor immediately and if there is rust the motor is done but if not dry it out and oil it and run it!!!!
Thanks for this. Very nice instructional just the right amount of detail. And pleasant background music. Appreciate it bud.

These are the stock wheels and tires.
@@BigDogBermuda13 ok
@@BigDogBermuda13 are they 17mm hex on them
@@ironhead320 it uses an odd ball size. I believe they are 14mm. 1/8 scales wheels are 17mm
@@BigDogBermuda13 this is a 1/8 scale
he is nuts!! Easy start works way better then the pull start

The clutch on the engine has enough slip for me. I prefer the slipper tight on my nitros. I run it a little looser on electric cars.
Is their a pull start conversion kit I can buy if so can you link it
