Well, this should be interesting. Most people go the other way, ya know? I mean they remove the nitro mill and stick in a brushless motor and never look back. Fortunately I have both, the TMAXX nitro and the EMAXX Twin 550 Titan brushed motors, big ESC and two 7.4 5200 mAh LiPo batteries. The nitro powered is bad ass and finicky as can be. But its loud, fast, is great for Bashing but not so good for crawling. It is perfect for a day when ya want to mess with fuels, starting, tuning, and always tweaking. The electric is great for any terrain. As long as the electronics are waterproof, no issues.
Hi i want to convert my tmaxx 2.5 to electric do you have the list of all parts i need to buy and which stores you got them, what is the cost of the project thanks
I have a 3.3 T-Maxx that I want to do a conversion to. I'm looking to use a XLX2 (not sure on motor size as of yet) and plan on running either 6s or 8s.I'd like to somehow try to use the stock tranny (since all internal gears are updated to the Robinson racing hardened gears) along with the nitro brake setup as well to help keep ESC from straining to much while breaking with all the weight. I plan on machining a new chassis that's about 4-6" longer than stock (mainly so I can have ESC, batteries and everything else mounted to chassis and keep center of gravity as low as possible) and am using a heavy beadlock wheel/tire combo (Axial 3.8" oversized 8 spoke wheels and #1103 Proline Big Joe tires 6.39x4.25). I'm obviously gonna have to machine new brace supports (maybe out of titanium for better strength) so it's gonna be a heavy rig which is why I want to keep the stock break pads, rotor and break servo if at all possible. I'll have to make longer MIP center drive shafts to make it all work properly as well. Anyone think this is all gonna work out? Anyone think a 2 speed tranny will work with an electric motor? LOL. Worst case I'll just swap out to the E-Revo transmission and hope my XLX2 don't go up in smoke while under heavy breaking loads. Lmfao
You are good at making videos, Man! We laughed at the junk box in the beginning. Time to make my huge hunk of aluminum from 2000 run again! I Mean, Who wouldn't trust that Beard? :) THANK YOU

I just got arrma 6s backflip tires and 17mm adapters and it needs help turning. I have a summit trans with stock spur and 26t pinion ( I run 4s) with stock 6s redcat kiaju esc and motor ( 2100kv) .
