@Parma, when the machine was making “Michael Jackson” noises, I think that was because you intended to Respin but that wasn’t what happened. The first time those noises occurred, you just selected Ice Cream again, not Respin. The second time, you pressed Respin BEFORE selecting Full and then pressed the dial - which also caused the machine to run in Ice Cream mode. You need to select Top/Full/Bottom BEFORE pressing Respin - and when you press Respin, the machine starts automatically. You don’t need to press the dial (and therefore, if you start the machine by pressing the dial, you’re not Respinning.)
Ive been considering buying one for months and after a bad day at work and a **** it moment, I have now taken advantage of a 10% new customer discount and a bundle offer on the Ninja website. One will be arriving in my kitchen very shortly. :D Thank you for this review and those delicious-looking recipe ideas.
I brought this machine a few weeks ago & I’ve done frozen yogurt & tried sorbets my main issue is I was getting an error code because I don’t think I’m putting the blade in properly mainly it’s ’always powdery so it needs to be turned a couple of times and apparently that’s to do with my freezer being too cold!!! Who knew a freezer be too cold not me ❤
Funny as the manual says to turn your freezer down even colder. If it comes out powdery try a good splash of liquid (I used milk) and that seemed to do the trick and make it Creami
I love how you just wing the flavours. Thats exactly how i would use it. When you made the passion fruit (pina colada), why did you remove the seeds. Wouldnt you just blitz it all together for texture?
Best way to just wing it with this for sure!! So I find when you blitz the seeds you don't get that much more flavour also to strain them you need a superfine sieve and the flavour is bitty for sure. Saves you a ton of time also :)
Just curious; so they say that it’s not to blend. But it seemed to do fine with your second cup of cut up fruit. Do you know what the ‘limit’ is per se? Ordered mine today, so I’m now looking into everything lol
Yeah I thought the same thing but it blends whole or cut up fruit but leaves some chunks which is fine by me for certain flavours. Kind of a 2:1 ratio fruit to other ingredients. The sorbet was all cherries and had little bits in which tasted great. You can pre blend it all for a smoother texture. So good to experiment. Let me know how your creations turn out when you get your machine 🙌🏽
Guys dont buy it. It is emnensely loud. The neigbours are able to hear this bloody thing. I innacurately asumed that it would have an element of churn centric silence instead i got a horsepowered blending machine. The cooling element entails the operator freezing the content or freezing the cups before use. Ive packed this thing up and put it in my car ready to be dropped off at the local Salvos here in Melbourne Australia. A very frustating experience ive effing chucked $300+ at this thing only to revieve a screaming mechanical kid......and it screams fir 4 minutes. Save ga money. Just get a blender. Stipid Thing is Overated

That makes sense and explains the Michael Jackson noises lol might have been easier if I wasn't showing it to the camera. 🤷🏽
I bought one and found is absolutely amazing especially for eating low calorie ice cream
That's the part that's been great! Homemade halo tops but better and cleaner

You will have some tasty treats with this machine for sure. Been having ice cream from it all this week. Enjoy it!

I made a frozen starter with roasted carrots, but of maple syrup and some cinnamon and nutmeg. Not nearly as bad as it sounds!
That sounds tasty. Did you serve it like a sorbet?

I just tried this machine and its amazing!
Love using it for ice cream treats
Ive been debating it and just cant pull the trigger lol
It's tough one but if you love those homemade ice creams it's very tempting lol
I love icecream and that looks absolutely good!
@@GerdaButtner-hl4kd me too!! Perfect for the summer
How well does the icecream keep after its made?
Pretty good say 20 mins (depending on the fat content of the recipe) but if you freeze it then you'll have to thaw it out.

Does it come with 4 containers ?
It's comes with 2 but I picked up 4 extra ones on amazon for like $27 and they worked just like the originals.
I purchased the original version and found it overrated.
How so??

Sounds like you had a bad time with it 😔
Any research would have told you that its a noisy machine mate. No worse than a stand mixer at high speed.
@@dave9624 Righto whatever smartass. So anyway i literally dumped it at the rubbush tip an hour ago here in Melbourne.
I’ll take it off your hands rather than the salvos!! 🙌🏻
