So the pencil portrait is my duh moment, where I just thought you meant a portrait of anyone. Then I figured you might mean a portrait of your bad-self so I abandoned the first one and did a Peter portrait. I just included the first one because “duh, I shoulda known”.
The coconut water is the water inside any coconut. When the coconut is young and green, the water tastes thicker and less sour. Inside the green coconut is fleshy, soft jelly. The older coconut with brown husk has water that is less fresh tasting, and has hard, stringy flesh. Pulverizing the hard white flesh with some of the water, and then straining the pulp out (usually by mashing the mixture against a metal strainer) produces coconut milk.
Yes I do this ambient sounds in rooms thing with music. When I step outside and come back in it's like a party at my place instead of the stale silence of a life alone. Also when I'm watching a movie and need to use the bathroom or get a frig-bev, I never pause because I feel like it interrupts the films natural flow. I'm not worried about missing 2 mins of a story because if it's good enough I will probably watch it again sometime and get to have new parts to see 2nd time around.
I like one F*ck off I'm crafting or making art as poster for more impact. I've been given 2 mugs as gifts one is Jack's head Nightmare before Christmas.
The thing with trikotage which is material knitted with tiny loops - and actually that goes for all kinds of knitted materials like sweaters - is that it is full of holes and those holes between the threads is like a shelter where the warmth from your body can stay. Outside you will want a wind breaker over it, to keep the air still, so the warmth from you body does not escape. I am a knitter and I enjoy your videos A LOT - I mean like A LOT. Keep'm coming.
Sometimes I like listening to Peter while I draw and occasionally look over and see how much better he is at drawing than me. It’s still great motivation because it reminds me what I strive for!
When I watch Peter's videos I feel like I'm watching a real person or a friend in a sense, not that other youtubers aren't real people obviously they are , but what I mean is that his videos aren't heavily edited and he doesnt do the typical "overly excited" youtuber voice or persona , he just feels honest and is very relatable.
That portrait really does capture your essence. Pretty awesome. The coconut water is what you were drinking from the coconut. Coconut milk is made from the coconut meat. The meat is shredded and squeezed to extract the white milk. I miss fresh coconuts.
The coconut water, often mislabeled coconut milk, is the thin watery liquid in the center of the coconut. Coconut milk, like you can buy in the store now, or make yourself, is made by blending the fatty flesh of the coconut with its own water, or with other plain water. This of course is my own interpretation. Also, leg blankets are the bestest, i thoroughly agree! Especially soft knit ones with stretchy torso holes in them. :)))
Wow. Just wowowow. I've watched nearly every drawing in that sketchbook being done, but to see them thumbed through like that was mind blowing. Wow. I'm taken aback. Seriously, well done.
I liked the stippling it was fun to watch. I never do it. I always manage to become heavy handed. Individual dots become a spot that looks like I just spilled ink. Also, I remember your longer hair. Very curly. A brand called "as I am" makes a coconut shampoo and conditioner that I absolutely love. The conditioner is very hydrating so you will feel like you didn't rinse it out, but it's just your hair feeling silky smooth.
Peter About coconut , Coconut is having a huge hole filled with water. That water get sweet and sweet in time of growing the "NuT'' If you cut the nut in half you can see the water spill. The coconut milk / cream is then made when you scrape the coconut spears and make a pulp and squeeze it through a linen or jelly cloth. it is very oily cream and nice but you can't apply concentrated on to your hair which out mixing with other things as a formula. You make oil when it is slowly heating and cold process. Coconut is very healthy.
Fresh coconut milk/water, wearing warm clothing, walking, living alone, drawing - are we kindred spirits? Even though I experienced fresh coconut on a few South Pacific islands instead. Thanks for inspiring me!
Howdy Peter, I really liked that part where you sung Hey, that was pretty epic. Also, I got a copy of Dayfever as a Christmas gift, which was super epic. Your Christmas gift mug and portrait are epic too. I hope your holidays were happy and healthy (and epic)!
Just so you know you have been inspiring me to draw for about 1 year now and I just wanted to thank you for that. Also you and your content has helped me through some things so yeah
Peter. As of late I've absorbed a great amount of inspiration from a French Illustrator. Maybe you know his moniker ( McBess ) He does a lot of black and white paintings / Drawings and a few animations. He also wrote some really great music. Sort of a jazzy / loungy type of tune. Really great stuff. But back to my main point. Peter , as a person who has barely dwelled into the world of creativity / art , Where should I start? Digital/ Free hand / painting? Love all your relaxing videos!!! Please don't stop what you do
Peter. I have a suggestion for you. You mentioned that you like to listen to philosophy audiobooks while walking. So you might like this: the university of Yale has a RUclips channel and there you can find their course on death, by Dr Shelly Kagan. There are around 25 lectures, but they are incredible! It is a course to tearful philosophy using death as a theme. So they start by asking what does it mean to be dead, if we die when our body die or if we are somehow separate. then it goes and tries to solve what is really the bad side of death, or how to live knowing we are mortals, and it keeps going. It is all very clearly put, very easy to follow and really engaging. They suggest readings as well, but you can just listen to the lectures it you want. Awesome course, and entirely available for free.
Coconut water is what you drank straight out of the coconut. Coconut milk, is made when you soak the white flesh of the coconut and then squeeze out (over and over) the white milk. The first squeeze is the thickest. The second squeeze (after soaking again) is a more watery and finally (you can usually get three batches out of it) the last squeeze is the most watery. For cooking, the first batch is always the most desired. But you can also just go buy it at the store.
I also agree with the leggings sentiment. I'm transmasculine and a little thing I miss is the ability to wear leggings without getting funny looks but I just might jump back on the leggings bandwagon because who cares
To avoid funny looks just wear some gym shorts on top. Around here that's a pretty popular look among men. I like it as well because while leggings are super comfy I hate people.staring at my ass

I love coconut curl shampoo! That is all I use since I also have natural curly hair. I agree the others is not the same. Happy New Year to you Peter! My daughter and I enjoy watching and listening to your stories. I’m an Artist also! 😁
Growing up we always called the liquid inside the coconut " coconut milk" .. but today, what you buy in a can as "coconut milk" is actually purreed coconut meat with some of the liquid added in .. and what they call coconut "water' is the liquid inside the coconut as it is first opened. Clear as mud? For me .. I detest the canned "coconut milk" but LOVE the fresh coconut water right out of the coconut .. THAT to me will always be the real coconut milk.. : )
Well Peter, happy belated birthday anniversary! I know what you mean about noises in other rooms. I grew up in a very large family and when I am home alone during the day it does feel very strange not to hear other people in other rooms! I guess you get used to it after a while but I think I’m going to try turning on the radio or playing something in the other room and see how that goes, you have very good ideas and I’m very glad to be subscribed to your channel. Please take care, be safe and have a happy new year!
Coconut water is from unripe coconuts (the green ones with almost no pulp developed yet) that are collect early just for water drinking. I totally relate to the music in the other room thing. I do the same thing! Scotts portrait was awesome and so are both of your drawings! I firmly believe that people should be able to wear whatever they want in public without feeling judged. You do you Shaboo! All my best :)
I thought my son was the only one that used cardboard to create art on..I haven’t seen you for awhile Peter and I have to say it’s nice to see your hair again.. and you as well. Wishing you the very best in the next year going forward.
Moin Peter. I recommend certain radio channels for the impression of company and being immeshed in the world. That soothes feelings of isolation. Should be a channel with not too much music, cultural channels are usually a good mix of music, everyday talk, talks about topic, etc. Have a good year and i salute you from my bed in Vienna!

Your profile picture pops I like it
Let's get this to the top so Peter sees it
Epic. Subscribed in two seconds. Scott is incredibly talented.
Great picture Scott
It’s an excellent piece of art, Scott. And it clearly brought joy to Peter the second he saw it.
Wear leggings. Shampoo with coconuts. Draw interesting things. Notes taken :)
He's also worn UGGs before!
He is just as beautiful as his art
Yep
You know the next 19 minutes will be good when the video starts with "I've been wearing leggings a lot"
😂
Dancing in the 'HEY' cardboard is a key point of this week.
I believe that was the moment at which I clicked the thumbs up button.
Scott's drawing is a fever dream.
You’re more correct than you know 😉
pretty sure youre talking about peter too.
Right?
U mean the weird nightmares u get when u hv a fever? Always xtra bizarre.

Hey Peter!
My daughter got a mug with "fuck off I am painting" for christmas. I am kinda jealous...
Would you like one?

Me: hey, I wanna go running
Also me: *but baby it’s cold outside*
Leggings: 😎
Baby its cold outside is such a creepy song
That mug doesn't make sense because we all know Peter is immortal
I’ve been having a terrible day today so there’s nothing better than listening to Peter talk about leggings to take my mind off of the bad things ❤️
His channel truly is a gift. Hope you have a better day tomorrow :)
I haven't seen Peter genuinely laugh.. His smile is awesome. Very contagious
What an absolutly precious and authentic human being. I love this guy so much ❤🍄

Coconut milk is when the white stuff, the pulp, is ground together with the coconut water. I think from a ripe coconut.
I really enjoy listening to your thoughts peter. thank's for sharing!
God, I needed you today, Peter. Needed!

Hey world. I’m quietly freaking out.
I listen to imaginary music while I walk, actual music but I imagine it, as if it was coming from a radio :)
*Wraps self in cardboard drawing and does a dance* I felt that
We all know that apart from his art we watch his videos for his voice too
And because of his chill personality 😎 I wish I could hang out and draw with peter

jesus, I misread the title and though it said "join me in making art and *taking lives* with Peter Draws"
Hello Peter, I am doing pretty well, thanks for checking. I hope you are doing well too!
coconut milk comes from coconut cows, coconut water comes from coconut streams or coconut ponds.
Extremely well timed ad... Idk if that was intentional or just me. Keep doing what you love Peter!
