You may have missed out on a gem. Since you were in Firle you could have visited Vanessa Bell's grave buried next to Duncan Grant and Quentin Bell, her son who was killed in Spain, Also for another trip to that area is St. Michael and All Angels in Berwick. The interior walls of this small church were paintings by Vanessa and Duncan and using Angelica as the angel model. Also thought that Charleston may have been renovated. It was much too bright and light, I don't remember that way. Lovely vlog though. Had never seen one of your before. Jane, Philadelphia

The interior walls of this small church were paintings by Vanessa and Duncan and using Angelica as the angel model. Also thought that Charleston may have been renovated. It was much too bright and light, I don't remember that way. Lovely vlog though. Had never seen one of your before. Jane, Philadelphia

Hello Miranda and Donna - I so loved this particular vlog. I was brought up on the Kent edge of London, so I would have been one of those school children many years ago at Knowle. You just visited some wonderful places. Thank you for taking us along with you. PS - Donna, I've got a soapdiish in the kitchen from Closett and Botts in the same colour as your tin ovendish. I think I may need one of those now!
