  • This video demonstrates various methods for testing the effect of a categorical independent variable on the dependent variable in a multiple regression analysis using Stata. I focus mainly on the use of dummy coding and various options for obtaining regression results using dummy coded variables. I also spend time showing viewers how results obtained using dummy coding compare to ANOVA and ANCOVA output (also generated using Stata).

    correction: the last category of dummy variable in the table is single rather than widowed. widowed is reference we don't put it up. because (j-1)

    You did a great job on statistics Prof. mike and I will expect more from you. You have a lot of lectures on SEM and I appreciate that. I have one question prof if you can teach us about GSEM and multilevel GSEM including how to check ICC(intracluster correlation ) for SEM using stata and R software
