I don't believe McConnell supported the insurrection but he did nothing to prevent it or stop it. He is supposedly a leader but he wasn't leading on that day!

When he and the other four Capitol police officers testified before the congressional committee, I sobbed and sobbed for what they had went through that horrible day. Fanone cared not of himself, but of his fellow officers (comrades) that day. He really rises above the top when it comes to devotion to his fellow worker. It is going to take us, we the people, researching the people in office right now. How do they vote, how is that different from what they say, why. We must then share our findings with each other and with the people who can vote them in or out. We the people must decide we alone can save our country and take our government from the 2%. Some of our public servants are like Burney. Many are not. We must look among us to find our leaders. The rich don't really know nor understand us. Time to replace them. Then, when we the people run things, we get to remove the electoral college. And make other changes to strengthen our democracy and make us more free.
