Talent is an understatement. I thought he was a comedian because of his parody of famous songs to the virus. I am so glad I did the research because now I am a big fan. Looking and listening to everything he has done.
I rooted for Chris on The Voice and when I was able to finally accomplish one of my dreams of seeing Phantom of the Opera in person, I found out he was playing The Phantom! Such an amazing performance! I’m so glad I was able to hear him in person as well. Thanks for making my first time seeing Phantom even more special! 😊❤️

I fell in love with Chris and his voice the first time I heard him sing on America's The Voice season 2 he definitely should have won but went on to play The Phantom on Broadway and hasn't looked back since. I just hope he comes to Australia soon ! 🎼🎶🎤💗

As a person who has been in a choir who accompanied him at one of his concerts, it is honestly such a fantastic experience hearing him live! I wasn't one of the lucky kids who got to meet him, but he is a really nice guy, from what I heard from the ones who did meet him.
The way Chris sings "Trust me" is so heartbreaking! His music video somehow manages to be just as beautiful and heartbreaking as his performance of the song in the show! Incredible!

Constellations is one of my favorite albums but what really makes me upset is that people who listen to pop songs (or the popular genres) don't realize that there are true people with real talent--Mann is my favorite singer and even beats out Selena Gomez as she was my favorite as a kid but I guess music tastes change.
This is my favorite song from this musical. I saw it in my Senior trip in 97. We also had Phantom of the Opera melody for our senior song for the band to play (still remember how to parts of it after all of these years)

I went to the show at Kennedy center and was blown away by how amazing Chris Mann was as the phantom. I REALLY wish they sold a soundtrack of him as the Phantom. 🙏
1) Discovered Chris's video "My Corona". Enjoyed it. 2) Found more videos. Watched "Thank You Frontline", and immediately became a fan. (I'm an EMT, so I took that personally... in a good way.) 3) Found even more videos. Enjoyed them. 4) Found THIS video. Phantom has always been my #1 favorite musical (even if the relationship between Phantom and Christine is straight-up unhealthy). 5) Damn near fainted at 1:50. 6) Did a little research and discovered Chris was the title character for over 700 live theatre performances of Phantom of the Opera!!! I'm only a little surprised, tbh. There were several times I could almost see the mask on his face!
When I finally stopped laughing hysterically from the three My Corona parodies and also the Adele parody as well, I found myself thinking this guy has an incredible voice and vocal range. I went looking and landed here. I am an instant and dedicated fan. Thank you Chris!

Chris Mann and Katie Travis were playing The Phantom (Erik) & Christine Daae respectively when I first saw it on stage in Houston and I loved it! I almost cried at the end when Christine leaves The Phantom. Up till that point I had only seen The 2004 movie and clips of the Broadway show on RUclips and I'm glad I can say I have seen it live now. Funny Story: in the movie During the song All I Ask of You the audience gets shots of the heartbroken Phantom watching the happy couple and it makes me so sad for the Phantom (Erik), effectively ruining the sing for me and so when I was watching the Musical on stage I figured since he was behind the statue I would be able to enjoy the song but then I noticed black fabric flapping like a bird from behind the statue, it was The Phantom's (Erik's) Cape! After noticing that I couldn't enjoy the song knowing the Phantom (Erik) was suffering back there.

But I did not expect you to have this level of classical training, and mastery. My first career was in music. Classical flute. I'm critical. I don't impress easily. I don't remember the last time I felt so drawn into a song and its performance. It's certainly been a few years. I am in awe. And you're a baritone! Such a joy. Sometimes, one does grow weary of tenors and sopranos (contralto, here). You are an amazing vocalist. I am very happy to have discovered your music. This is the beginning of Chris Mann and our introduction to his amazing voice. How he did not win the Voice will always puzzle me!! Then came the COVID parodies and it brought so much attention... and showed a totally different (and brilliant/funny) side of this man. I'm SO glad that some were lead to know this other side of him. He would have been an amazing "Phantom".. reminding me of Davis Gaines who was who we saw in that role. Beautiful, talented, a true family man... every woman's dream!!

This is an amazing performance of this song! When I first moved to Wichita, KS in 2010 someone gave me a copy of Chris's EP (2 years before he was on The Voice). When I found out he was on in 2012, I was like...I know that guy! Not personally, but it felt cool to see someone from where you live whose lesser known work you had listened to because he was sort of locally known seem to be getting a break finally at a national level! I really like how they brought most of the melody through the piano with orchestral accents :) cause I play piano and I also know this song xD. (I know the version with 5 flats that transitions to sharps for anyone who knows music ;) )
I play piano too and all the flats going to sharps isn't easy. How it begins in mostly flats I think is so richly beautiful.

I first saw your David Foster video, after subscribing, and said to my husband "damn, Chris is incredible and so special and he even has an opera voice!" A few videos later, and you're singing a song from my all time favorite Broadway show that I must have seen about 8 times in Vegas and 4 in Toronto LOL and that doesn't count the views on the movie lol! This is the beginning of Chris Mann and our introduction to his amazing voice. How he did not win the Voice will always puzzle me!! Then came the COVID parodies and it brought so much attention... and showed a totally different (and brilliant/funny) side of this man. I'm SO glad that some were lead to know this other side of him. He would have been an amazing "Phantom".. reminding me of Davis Gaines who was who we saw in that role. Beautiful, talented, a true family man... every woman's dream!!

Your tribute to the front line in "Thank You" is so incredibly touching and I continue to listen to it often. This is an amazing performance of this song! When I first moved to Wichita, KS in 2010 someone gave me a copy of Chris's EP (2 years before he was on The Voice). When I found out he was on in 2012, I was like...I know that guy! Not personally, but it felt cool to see someone from where you live whose lesser known work you had listened to because he was sort of locally known seem to be getting a break finally at a national level! Amazing voice. Best of luck to you, Chris.
