But that's not what happened, it's hypothetical. And in the Broadway musicals, usually the singers hired are fit for their role in the musicals, both acting and singing is good for that format. Now. There are other actors and GOOD singers, only to give you some examples: Hugh Jackman, Antonio Banderas, even Jim Carrey, and lots of actors and singers who could play the role.

I am not a fan of this version because I thought he missed some words in the song. I think his other songs are much better than this particular one. He is a wonderful singer, but even professional singers miss it sometimes. I love his Lord's Prayer and Ave Maria. He's awesome in those.
