in that case, I think it's still a "destroying what you sought to become". Lamb forgots about his past and wants to be just like wolf. But then, repressed memories show up and he wants revenge against things he idolized.
@@shapeshifter16 I see the logic but i'm pretty sure it's still "Become what you sought to destroy". The lamb swear vengeance against the wolf that killed his mother, get trained by him (for whatever reasons the wolf would train his own assassin), forgot why he was here in the first place (how?...) And after becoming rabid, attack the herd he sought to protect like the wolf would.
The moment where he saw that sheep and her lamb feel more like a "oh sh*t, what did i become?!" than a "oh sh*t, i forgot about that!".
@@shapeshifter16 but i think the lamb sought to be strong as the wolf so that he can protect his loved ones when there's danger (as he felt powerless when the wolf killed his mother) and in the last part, he has become the monster who he wanted to protect the herd from. Thus he has become what he once sought to destroy.

yoooooo, Chirin's Bell! It's been a long time since I've watched this, was absolutely heart wrenching man, has a special place in my heart with Night on the Galactic Station and Wolf Children!
I love this movie so much, and felt you decently gave it justice.
To me, the movie was less about avenging his mother’s death, and more about wanting to no longer being weak (which is why he sought out his mother’s killer rather to train rather then to kill.) This edit I think expresses that, very nice.
this is such a cool edit i’m mad i didn’t see it earlier!! it’s very nice without being too crowded by effects but still manages to match with the song,, it’s rlly refreshing to see!!

Ik this video is 2 years old already but the saddest thing is that the wolf was glad to die in chrin's horns, bc he trained him and considered him a son, and chirin regreted it bc he never had a father in his life before the wolf king trained him, and the sheeps dint accept him, not seeing him as a sheep. The only "sheepish" thing that remained in him was his bell.
That baby sheep had his own revenge training arc and redemption arc all in one

Is that sheep is some kind of hybrid? No way a normal sheep can grow like that
I think it’s just a design choice, they say in the film he “became a demon” in a way, so I think that was the intention
It’s a ram. You can get some crazy looking breeds of sheep- though none quite like that naturally.
The valais black nose has twisting horns & a less tightly-curled fleece, so could look something like that, vaguely. Hebridean sheep can look pretty crazy
