Early 2000's cant remember which year. I worked with a guy who was like 20 years older but damn we became really cool friends. He had amazingly crazy stories to tell, they could make a hangover-like movie out of his damn life. Anyway I was hospitalized while doing chemo for a few weeks, he gave me a mix cd with this song along with some electric six and black flag and damn it really made my days there a whole lot easier while listening to this among other songs.

I think that you can hear similarities between both bands. This song would've fit in really well with the late-'70s/early-'80s alternative scene, which both Joy Division and Pylon were a part of. God I forgot how old this song was, I found it in middle school and I've listened to it at least once a month since. It's been a little part of me, a streak of rebellion and punk, and it feels like it was with me since I was a little kid. I would have been over the moon finding this as a kid but it still feels like a breath of fresh air despite the years that have passed listening to this song. Thank you for making this!! I think that you can hear similarities between both bands. This song would've fit in really well with the late-'70s/early-'80s alternative scene, which both Joy Division and Pylon were a part of.
