Natascha seeing an Ewok for the first time: “what the Build-a-Bear?!!”
😆
I can’t help but think of the Barnet Stimson Ewok test.
"murder bears" 🐻
She’s actually the second reactor I’ve seen use that one.
I love that Jabba and his homies are just hiding behind a curtain. I always imagine Jabba being like, “shhh, shutup, shutup, just watch, this is gonna be great”.
Leia remembers her mom due to vague Force visions that she mistakes for memories.
The first 6 Star Wars movies are basically the story of Darth Vader. Definitely watch the prequels.
If you look closely you’ll see one of the bad guys has his hand over C-3PO’s mouth to Lee him quiet
I wonder how long they were waiting behind that curtain? Maybe they had an alarm that was triggered when Han was unfrozen?
The fact that your home-made Leia costume looks like it will come apart easily... is a BIG improvement over the original.
- Not only did Leia look great in that outfit, but she racked up the 'V' with a rear-naked chokehold against an opponent that was far above her weight class. Total badassery.
The costume designer for the original Star Trek show said that a sexy costume isn’t about how much skin it shows, but how much it looks like it could fall off.
Fun fact- the original costume had to be checked before every take, so as not to expose too much, and probably have to change the films rating.
@@ronfehr7899 And somebody actually got _paid_ for that job. Luckiest son of a Hutt in the galaxy.

For the first time, there is genuine sadness in Vader's voice. Even as a kid, I found that line kind of touching 😢😢😢

I love how C3PO claimed to Luke that he wasnt good at making stories interesting in Episode IV, only to enthrall the Ewoks with Luke's story in Return of the Jedi.
To be fair, C3PO could have been telling them the most basic time line of what has happened and to the ewoks, not familiar with any of this stuff in the galaxy, would most likely be amazed by the "story".
So far you're the only other person besides myself that seems to have noticed that.
that first reaction to Leia meeting Wickit (the first Ewok on screen) was so adorable! I love it when people are just genuinely moved by adorable creatures!
Close but it's actually wicket
The amount of Ewok plushies this woman will receive if she ever sets up a fan mailbox will be legendary.
I was thinking similarly lol
"I've got to save you." "You already have." always gives me chills. Love your reactions, North Country Girl...
Best line in the series.
Aside from the obvious highlight for me and all the other guys watching, your reaction to the Ewoks brought tears of joy to my eyes, and was clearly my favorite of all your reactions to events in this movie. A close second would be your "I love you. I know" reaction.
It’s crazy how much joy it brings me watching someone discover the magic of Star Wars. Astonishing costume Natascha
That's the best, "terrible-ass" cosplay I've ever seen! Great job as always, Princess Natascha!!
❤
You're homemade costumes have been great! Lots of character to them, more interesting than store bought. 👍
Princess Leia in that costume almost single-handedly propelled me into puberty.
Saaaaame. Lets just say I almost developed carpal tunnel that week. lol
AYOOOO 😂💀
13:54 me too.
The scene with Luke and Vader talking on the launchpad for the transport on (the moon of) Endor is probably my favorite scene in all of Star Wars. It's not the flashiest, it's not the most lore important, it's not even the most emotional, but it's still such a good scene. The power of Luke talking to his dad openly and honestly and for the first time really showing a crack in his commitment to the Empire, it is perhaps the most optimistic anti-imperialist message possible, that even someone as lost and cruel as Vader has been could be shaken from the grip of tyranny. While the actual turn happens later when Luke is being electrocuted, and the moment of grace and redemption is when Luke removes his mask, it's that conversation still deep in the woods, with the machines of the Empire, the AT-ST and Imperial transport that brought them to the launch pad looming menacingly in the establishing shot, that really feels like the crux of Luke's appeal to Vader. The seed was sown, the armor was cracked, the actual fight and moment of truth were just hammering that crack.
“It is too late for me, Son.” -Anakin's heart could not hide behind the lie any longer, his words betrayed his regret.
Good analysis. I would just add that I think the conversion of Darth Vader began at the end of Empire Strikes Back, when he stopped saying "Skywalker" and started using "Luke" and "Son". This continue to grow through Return of the Jedi. When Vader informs the Emperor about the Rebel force that has landed on the Endor moon, he specifically says "MY SON is with them."
Petition for Natascha to dub over all Yoda's lines with her Northern accent! 🤣
"Use the force Lukey boy!"
ahahaahah
Vader: Obi-Wan has taught you well...
Natascha: And Yoda!
Vader didn't know that Yoda was still alive.
That would be quite surprising, considering that the past couple of decades his job has been hunting down the survivors of the purge, and Palpatine _knew_ that Yoda escaped.
This was my first movie in the theatre, ever, at the age 9. I have a huge soft spot for it till this day. "Let me look on you with MY OWN eyes." made me cry uncontrollably as a kid.
Natscha is so unbelievably bold wearing that costume! It’s also technically another Disney Princess costume. Im obsessed! 😭

Darth Vader needed the suit to live (you will understand it more with the prequels), and without the suit only his rage and anger could keep him alive. When he came back to the light, with the suit circuits broken by dark force lightnings, there wasn´t chance to survive.
And if he had lived, he'd basically be executed, as soon as the rebels could set up a judicial system, for war crimes and mass murder and whatnot. He makes Adolf Eichmann kind of look like a shoplifter by comparison.
Natascha, re-experiencing this trilogy through your eyes and reactions brought it all back for me. Thank you! You are a rare joy.
Yaa... I don't think anyone will complain if your costume falls apart lol. You'd probably make some dreams come true. Good lord I hope your room is humid.

In case you don't know, Princess Leia's actress, Carrie Fisher, is the daughter of famous actress Debbie Reynolds. Debbie is probably most widely recognized from her leading role in the classic film Singin' in the Rain. Interestingly, she was 19 at the time -- the same age Carrie was in Star Wars!
Great reaction! So much fun seeing how into it you really get. The Falcon is speeding through the Deathstar. Natascha: "Maybe if they just slow down a bit!" Love it. Funniest Disney princess ever.
They actually were going to kill Lando and Destroy the Falcon in this movie, but the cast and crew became so attached and they thought the fans would revolt, so George kept them alive, but he originally wanted them to die
To be fair, I think they should have died, It wouldn't have been more emotional victory, just my .02 cents
I remember seeing this in theaters with my mom who took me. Right when Ben told Luke he had a sister, my mom blurted out “Leia” two seconds before Luke said it. My mind was blown on how she could had possibly known that. But now it’s pretty obvious considering she’s literally the only female character in the story.
Lego Star Wars made that joke too.
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the effort you put into this. Very few reactors do.
I appreciate that!
Nat, your efforts to dress right shows true commitment. And for that alone you deserve 100k Subscribers.
“You know how some people are just naturally beautiful.” Yeah, we know luv. ;)
Such a great reaction. The story of star wars, is the story of the redemption of a man, through the love of his children. Thank you for sharing.
Your creativity and imagination with super glue and foam is just beautiful as are you in this cosplay.
Now imagine having to wait 16 years for the next movie
This is my favourite movie in the franchise. And the reason why, all the very creative aliens. All those creatures in Jabba's Palace, the Ewoks, Admiral Ackbar and the other alien Rebels... A lot more imagination and creativity went into this one than the others on original release.
When this was in theaters, I went to see it with my younger brother in Austin.
My brother later passed from a stroke at 40.
This movie is my greatest connection to him.
Now you gotta watch the Prequel Trilogy!

"Natascha standing by!" 😁
Absolutely brilliant! I loved the old 1983 version of the film and it was my favourite childhood film, and the Ewoks could do no wrong. Felt sorry for the dancer who got eat, though. Very sad indeed.
Dad took all four of us to see on opening day...sold out of course! We had to wait 3 hours for the next show. Played pac-man, donkey kong, missle command, ate tons popcorn. We ended up being first for the second showing. It was fun, but torture..hearing the loud, muffled deafening cheering of the 350 people in the crowd...and the minute-long ovation at the end.
Yes, these movies actually got standing ovations!
As a fellow Star Wars fan, I must inform you of something that might catch your interest if you ever watch the Prequel Trilogy.
If you stay till the end credits for Episode I and wait until the movie is fully finished with John Williams's musical score being played, you'll get to hear a faint sound (that of Darth Vader's mechanical breathing). That is basically a foreshadowing event that the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker in his Jedi days, will later one day fall into the path of the Dark Side and become the machine-like Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
But aside from that, you have gained a new subscriber. May the Force be with you and good luck on the next reactions, Natascha! 💙🙌🏻

Couldn't agree more!
I went from 13 Years old in 1977 seeing Star Wars to 16 Years old in 1980 to see Episode V The Empire Strikes Back to 19 years old in 1983 to see Return of the Jedi in 1983. The special effects in the Movie Theatre was incredible.
Everyone in the audience gasped when it was revealed that Princess Leia was Lukes Twin Sister,
The Jedi who returned was Anakin Skywalker. Luke hinted at it when he told the Emperor that he was a Jedi like his Father before him. Anakin went from being Darth Vader to become Anakin Skywalker again.
Everyone in the Movie Theatre cheered when Darth Vader turned on the Emperor and threw him down the Shaft. In the original movie Darth Vader doesn't say no. He just looks back and forth before turning on the Emperor,
In the original the Force Ghost of Anakin Skywalker was portrayed by the older actor who was in Darth Vader's suit, It was changed after the prequels to put the younger Anakin as the Force Ghost.
Hi Natascha. Great reactions throughout that I barely noticed your beautiful outfit…really. Saw this in theater. I told you about the audible gasp of the theater when Vader said, “I am your father!”. When Luke removed Vader’s helmet the whole theater went silent. As Anakin resurfaced in Vader, people were sobbing. I’m crying now and I am a mess everytime.

This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite reaction channels, for multiple reasons. Do not change your approach Natascha, you've found your niche.
thank you my lovely ❤️
This is the moment I’ve all been waiting for. 😊
If Luke had showed up just one day earlier, he could have saved Oola. (The green dancer slave girl)
My brother and I always disagree about which is better ESB or ROTJ.
If you love villain Vader, Yoda training, and the best of Han Solo its gotta be Empire.
But if youre like me and you want the conclusion to Lukes hero journey, Vader as a fallen hero, Leia as a Jabba killing, jet bike racing badass, and Han changing from a swinging smuggler to a sentimental but bold husband and of course The Emperor, then Jedi.
Death Star 2 is kinda dumb but The Emperor was a egomaniac.
Im glad you loved it. Good people win stories like this are good for the heart.
I used to prefer Empire Strikes Back, but there's so many moments in Return of the Jedi, it has won me over more and more. The tension is so intense, and the ending is so joyous
Back in May 1983, seeing it in the theater for the first time at age 10, we didn’t know how the confrontation between Luke and Vader and the Emperor would end.
But I tell you this: I haven’t experienced a moment during a movie like when Vader saved Luke by throwing the Emperor into the shaft. The entire audience leaped to its feet and unleashed a huge “YEAHHHHH!!!”
It was absolutely incredible and unforgettable.
"Not gonna lie, he's got one eye looking at Asda and one eye looking at Tesco right there!" Thanks for the best quote I've heard today Natascha!
🤣🤣 you know i'm right 🤣
To be fair I had to google it in America, it would be like "one eyes' looking at walmart, the other one's at target!"
It’s so great to see someone seeing these movies (and LotR) for the first time. I feel like I’ve been chasing the high of the first time I saw these films for my whole life.
😮 yess ,, perfect timing 👌
You have nothing to worry about. You look incredible and the costume was fantastic. Great reaction and you genuinely seem like a fun person, which is cool to watch. Look forward to your next reaction and seeing your channel grow 🙂
awh thank you so much, you're an absolute sweetheart 🥰
1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue.
2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it through Luke.
Luke didn't know that until just before then.
3. Luke's light saber is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape.
4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related.
5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han.
6. This was Warrick Davis's/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13.
"Willow" is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.
7. Awesome camera work with the race through the forest. Nobody in their right mind would go that fast.
8. Carrie Fisher said in her biography that the most satisfying part in her Star Wars experience was choking out Jabba.
9. Jedi is plural. With Luke and Leia leading the way they can reestablish the Jedi back into the galaxy.
10. Ford wanted Han to die in the last episode.
11. IMVHO this is the best of the original 6 George Lucas Star Wars. After the first six he sold it to Disney, and everything changed. Sadly
YOU: "They look like the three little pigs that never came back."🤣
55:50 That's what makes it so good! that nobody but Luke thought Vader would turn back to the light, not Leia, not Obi-Wan, Yoda, the Emperor, not even Vader himself. But Luke showed Vader that if Luke can become a Jedi like his father once was, then maybe Vader can become a Jedi like his son.
Jar Jar Binks Natascha. Please. Please.
I’ve watched your “Empire” reaction and I enjoyed it. You’ve got a good sense of humor.
I’ll be watching this “Jedi” reaction now. Great work with the costume!
Looking forward to this one!
"You failed your highness. I am a Jedi... Like my FATHER before me" Wait until you see the story of the father.
3:30 if you were larger you probably would have had it falling apart, the less weight the costume has to hold the more stable it is. Being small is a blessing more than a curse, it's just in the mind that being small is a bad thing.
32:11 Ewoks and the troopers on Endor are actually Scout Troopers. The one that got the drop on Leia was actually played by Harrison Ford. No Leia has not been a Disney Princess since day one, this isn't Disney.
Awesome reaction Natascha. If you watch the prequels next you'll get Anakins backstory, and how he fell to the Dark Side. Episodes 1, 2 and 3. Cosplay as Slave Leia is great! Can't wait for Phantom Menace. ❤
When Luke attacks the Emperor with the saber, Vader blocks him not to protect the Emperor, but to protect Luke. Because at this point he didn´t want the same dark fate for his son.
You think the emperor was down to die to make that point? He knew Vader would defend him. If anything it's both reasons
I like to assume that when Vader was on the floor and the Emperor is all "yes kill him" maybe Vader is thinking "wait, wtf?"
@@chadjenkins4876 Just like Dooku felt at that point. It's why you never hook up with someone cheating on their spouse--you'll be next.
@@chadjenkins4876 Vader had already accepted that Luke could be emperors new apprentice, if not...then Luke's dead and two remains. This is the rule of two.
@@HeisenStark13 You think that the Emperor was ever in any danger? Yes he knew that Vader would stop Luke, but if he didn't the Emperor is easily powerful enough to defeat Luke himself.
The Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader story really is one of the best ever in cinema. FYI - "Return of the Jedi," refers to Vader becoming a jedi again before his death, Loved the reactions can not wait to see the prequels with ya!
Luke Skywalker will always be cinema's greatest hero. I hate how Disney ruined his character. It's sad how many legacy characters get disrespected these days.
I really enjoyed the combo of this costume, and your spontaneous expressions as you reacted to parts of the movie. As you may have heard, it’s not what you’ve got… it’s what you do with it. :)
…Episodes I through VI of the Star Wars films, can be seen as the entire journey of Anakin/Darth Vader. (Anakin/Darth, and Obi-Wan do appear in all six films.) …Another key way of viewing the films, is the knowledge that things are almost never what they appear to be:
- Han IS NOT the heartless smuggler who is only “in it for the money.”
- That “weird little insignificant elf by the side of the road… " isn’t insignificant. He’s Yoda.
- R2 is not the barely-mobile, quirky little astro-droid who gets underestimated by everyone (he’s a lion-hearted warrior who saves the other characters in film after film.)
- Vader IS NOT the all-powerful bad guy of the story. (He’s not ••all powerful•• - he has horrible, permanent injuries inside the suit, which he needs as life-support gear. And he has a boss - he answers to the Emperor. He’s also not the bad guy (although the films trick you by constantly framing him as the bad guy, by music and other cues) - HE is the one who destroys both the Emperor and the ‘bad version’ of Darth Vader.
- Before that, Vader IS NOT ‘the man who killed Luke’s father'… which would have implied that Luke can get closure by killing him; he IS Luke’s father, which means that Luke's solution will have to be not what we were expecting or even capable of imagining.
- Luke is not an irrelevant farm boy on an insignificant, backward planet.
- The Ewoks - the teddy-bear creatures on Endor - are NOT ‘just’ cuddly, super-cute snuggle-bunnies; they’re determined warriors who decide to take down the Empire’s elite troops, then proceed to (help) do so.
I get lots of Emily Blunt energy from you, and I mean that as a compliment.

Such an iconic movie! I can't even imagine how insane this must have been to see in the theaters when it came out. Great reaction! Can't wait for your reaction to the prequel trilogy. Also, That cos is incredible! Great job!
Originally, Lando was supposed to die in the scene where he escaped. Lucas changed it last minute. He probably got tired of seeing Black people die in every movie of the 70s and 80s.
I don’t blame him.
If you think you feel bad for Vader now, wait till you see the Prequels. LOL. Love your work Natascha. Keep it up! Can't wait to see you watch the Prequels.
32:34 technically, Leia now is The Disney Princess😂😂😂
This movie is my favorite in the Star Wars series, and in no small part due to John Williams' phenomenal soundtrack. The throne room music, particularly once Luke turns on his lightsaber after Darth Vader threatens to turn his sister... that just gives me shivers. It's my favorite bit of piece of music out of everything. At the very least it's on a short list along with the Vienna Master Series version of The Nutcracker Suite and No Hope by Tonedeff.
As a movie overall I can get why people prefer the second one, but everything in the throne room to me is so powerfully great that it outweighs the entirety of the first two films. Granted, everything had to lead up to that in a perfect way to make that scene have meaning, but properly ending a movie (or even harder, trilogy) is the most difficult yet important thing to do.
Just be warned not to expect the same quality from the prequels. It's still got John Williams so obviously the music is fantastic, and they're worth watching simply because it's impossible to resist seeing how everything got to where Episode IV started... but if the original trilogy wasn't so great and the story had started with Episodes I, II, & III then I doubt people would have taken it seriously enough to watch IV, V, & VI in droves to become the legend it did.
The original trilogy is like a mystical legend that draws you in and forever stays with you, while the prequels are simply an interesting story (if that makes any sense).
Wonderful reaction as always!! You are amazing and beautiful!! 😍❤
I'm not really the type to compliment random people online, but I don't think you have to worry about it. You're quite a beautiful person with a nice personality and your reaction was a lot of fun. So, thank you for putting the effort into the outfit.
