Ugh, the Witch King breaking Gandalf’s staff still bugs me. It was an unnecessary and incorrect addition. Gandalf being a Istari means he’s exponentially more powerful, even in his limited form. They never have a confrontation like this in the books.

That sort of acrobatic fighting is bound more by tradition and culture, than actual self defense - it's very popular for movies, and many styles of it have been developed *for* movies; any _functional_ self defense is always going to look less elegant and acrobatic, and more akin to free fighting and wrestling :D it's kind of one or the other!

He was born only to kill Sidious. No matter how twisted and dark his path became, Anakin fulfilled his purpose to being alive. His death shortly after is just poetry.

People wonder why they included the horse scene... Hmmm who's reading the book? A child who's struggling to come to terms with someone's death and is overcome with sadness, but he struggles to get the adults to hear him out? The adults seem downright allergic to youth.

The secret Batcave entrance reminds me of when i used to deliver building materials to new constructions. A house was built with a secret door that lead to an entire apartment with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Then there was a spiral slide to get from the second story to the main floor. Damn rich people.

When it comes to the old CGI of this movie the way I justify it is, it's a computer world. This is a small area and they need to generate an entire world for people to see and recognize it as real. Since Smith doesn't register as a person or an agent and the only person there is Neo, the system is seeing a huge amount of rogue programs being generated in one place with only one person around to see it. So what does any computer do when too many programs are running in one place? It slows down, so the rendering on Agent Smiths and Neo gets worse. Since Neo is an unplugged anomaly and the only person there the system wouldn't care about him seeing it.
