@nataschasummers absolutely loved your reaction as always! The show just continues to get better! If you can believe that haha. Can't wait for more reactions. Enjoy your Night!
They've established that Hank has been having panic attacks since the turtle incident... and even before since Tuco. When you have a panic attack... you freeze up. You're physically incapable of *doing* anything... because your brain just shuts down. It wants to escape but it's like you're trapped in your own body.
I took a long break from the show because I lost access to Netflix. Have been binging the last season the last two days and it might literally be the best thing I’ve ever seen. Get ready
One of my favorite moments of the show is when Marie is telling Hank to lie about what happened with Jesse so he wont get in trouble, but Hank says he has to face the consequences for his actions. Which is the complete opposite of Walt, who constantly lies about anything and everything to benefit himself and to not have to face the consequences for his actions lol. Also, thanks for the double episodes!
No he told Gale the wrong temp on purpose so he could mess up so he can get Jesse back. But Gus doesn't want to pay Jesse so Walt split his half with Jesse to pay him so he took a pay cut to get Jesse back so he won't press charges on Hank
@@nataschasummers Yes. Also Gale is far too "nerdy" to make such a silly mistake. Walter needed an excuse to get Jessie back onboard and off Hank's case. So Gale was caught in the crossfire so to speak.
@nataschasummers well if you look at him as Gale is being too perfect as Walt is asking him questions about if he did this and if he did that, Walt is looking for him to mess up but he won't so he made up something for him to mess up on so he can say he needs Jesse back, there was no way Gale messed up, Walt gave him the wrong temp so the mess up would be " real" you see Walt's face trying to work it out on his head that he is conjuring of a plan, it can be hard to tell sometimes I had to watch that episode about twice to click that it was done on purpose. Remember Walt always has a plan lol his face can be hard to read sometimes so look for the clues in his expressions.

Appreciate the double episode reaction, these are a couple of classics. It’s 1 of the only shows I’ve seen where it gets better each and every season. Side note:elite puppy name lol
Hector says "one minute" to one of the twins in the flashback at the open. The cousin who gets drowned in the flashback is the one Hank pins against his car. The same cousin ironically tells his twin brother to "finish him".
...or maybe Heisenbone ? Or even better HeisenBerger De Picard that morphs into a tough HeisenBerger de Beauce ! (Had to dig out my handbook of Dogs for those last two....) 😊
You're on a roll, Natascha! Yet another great reaction. But, get used to the stress. These two episodes set the tone for much of the rest of the show up until the end of Season Five. So, buckle up. It's going to be a bumpy ride!
@49:00 Hank is a DEA agent and not a coward/ regular person, it's very much in hanks character to stay and fight the men who are coming to kill him rather than running away to save his life
Well at least Jesse got his house back because of the money from Gus but he lost his girlfriend before that partly because of Walt he doesn't know that. Jesse telling Walt all that actually did make him feel bad for him but he knows the way to get Jesse is to cave and admit that he did a good job on the cook
40:40 - The twins are stone cold psychos granted, but even they know that guys who will sell them untraceable illegal guns & ammo, no questions asked etc.... are not exactly ten a penny. They may need his services again in the future, so it'd be a waste to kill the guy. They didn't leave him alive for any moral reasons, it was just because the guy provides a service that they may wish to make use of in future.
Yes, I also wonder why gus would warn Hank? What possible purpose would that serve him? In fairness, if I were jessie, I would have told walt to screw off permanently, but I suppose the alure of money is a hard thing to walk away from. Hank might not be a villain in this show, but I never really saw him as a hero either .
Gus wanted to cause problems for the Cartel in Mexico and he wanted the twins dead or at least in prison. The Cartel has huge influence over the Mexican authorities but even the Mexican authorities have to be seen to be doing something if the Cartel goes after a US DEA agent or there would be hell to pay from the Americans. So this attack on Hank was a way for Gus to turn the Mexican authorities against the Cartel. If the Twins die in the process, it would also be an added bonus for Gus. Hank living or dying was neither here nor there to Gus. Hank was just a useful pawn in Gus' bigger game. The twins had already been warned by their Boss in Mexico that they couldn't touch a DEA agent. But their desire for vengeance combined with Gus giving them the ok, led them to ignore their previous orders.
Yes even though he got along with Gale it wasn't exciting for him there was no drama but it's also a bit because he cares about Jesse and kinda wants him around and because he needs to save Hank from losing his job, but yes even though he likes Gale he is too even to him he would rather be teaching his partner and molding him into what he wants then to have a guy already as smart as him.
You couldn't be MORE WRONG! It has absolutely NOTHING to do with how Walt feels next to an assistant or partner. In fact him & Gale got along great in every scene before the "sludge" incident. It was 100% so he could find an excuse to get Jessie as a partner so he can save Hank's career. Remember, Walt & Gale share a HUGE passion for chemistry and have some of the same interests. While Jessie and Walt are opposites in almost every way and when working together it is mostly friction and Walt worrying that Jessie is doing something wrong. In fact the only positive experience while cooking (and I have watched this entire series over a dozen of time and almost every reaction on YT) was after they finished their 1st big cook and slapped high 5. However immediately after that is was back to negative feelings and complete chaos. P.S. Don't get me wrong, Walt cares for Jessie on a personal level (like a nephew), but having a professional relationship is always out of need, NOT want!
i have a sneeeeeeeaky little feeling that if it weren't a case of the charges needing to be dropped, Walt still would have found a problem with Gale bc he really does hate being undermined, PLUS lets face it this has nothing to do with Hank keeping his job and not being charged, Walt is far more concerned about himself - he's only bothered that Jesse might blab on him. imo aha
@@nataschasummers How did Gale undermind WALT? Gale never did anything to bother Walt in anyway. All Gale did was impress Walt and make Walt's job much easier (the exact opposite of Jessie TBF). Gale never copied the temp wrong, it was Walt giving him the wrong temp on purpose so he could find an excuse to tell Gus. This was to open up a spot for Jessie. Again, it was so Jessie would drop the charges. Why else would there be a scene of Skylar going to Walt's apt. to tell Walt he needed to find a way to get Jessie to drop the charges. The reason they show Gale having all the steps prepared for "the cook" before Walt even finishes getting into work uniform is to show how great of a fit they were together. Gale actually worshipped the ground Walt walked on, whereas Jessie had absolutely no respect for Walt and always got on Walt's last nerve. P.S. Remember, Walt had the resume, skill, knowledge, and reputation to build a billion $ corporation. However, he ended up being a HS teacher and a 2nd job scrubbing his students cars on his hands and knees after his main job to make ends meet. It wasn't until he was diagnosed with terminal cancer that he started down the road to "break bad"....hence the name of the show. The show wasn't called "evil unleashed" or something like that. I get it, most female reactors have rose colored glasses for blue-eyed angel Jessie Pinkman. He is "dreamy" and Walt is an old and bitter man who has underachieved and made a lot of horrible decisions based on ego, but until his "terminal illness", always did what his wife said and never complained or asked for anything. I mean the only time he spent extra money was for school supplies for his class and he would get scolded by Skylar for that. Skylar didn't even allow Walt to make his own decision on how to die a slow and miserable death. She guilted him into doing the treatment, which was the last thing Walt wanted to do. The reality is Walt & Jessie are both equal criminals at this point and both responsible for their own actions. It is that simple and just because one person is better looking or has a soft spot for kids, doesn't make them any less guilty. In fact Jessie's plan was to STEAL Walt's entire life savings and leave him & his family broke. They only reason that changed is Combo ripped off a RV (recreational vehicle) at the 11th hour to bail him out.
@@anthonyzarate9807 True, I agree with you, however I do think that although he liked and enjoyed working with Gale having no drama I think he missed Jesse being there and having some authority over him and teaching him even though he frustrated the hell out of him too, but at the time yes he sabotaged him and Gale's partnership to get Jesse back mainly because he had too for Hank and he did Just destroy the RV so Jesse can't cook to make money, he didn't want him too but he knows Jesse will try it on his own again anyways and that puts them both at risk because if he gets caught he said he would rat Walt out so making him work with him keeps him close and gets him to drop the charges.
