- Hi friends! Today I wanted to share my summer wardrobe and some closet organization with you as we get ready for a new season. As a homemaker and mom, my primary consideration for my capsule wardrobe is that it be filled with comfortable and simple clothes that I feel good in and that are easy to work in.

Thank you so much, Miranda! I so appreciate your kind words. Gaining weight with my health condition has been hard for me since I feel like nothing fits right anymore (and shopping for ready-made clothing is harder now). But I do realize I need to accept my body the way it is and speak positively about it. Especially as I have three daughters, and I know the way I speak and feel about it has an impact on them as well. Thanks for the encouragement.

Would you ever make dressers for others? I love the ones you made!! I’m not good at sewing anything 😢
Thank you! I don't have time for a sewing business right now, but I know there are lots of people who do custom sewing on Etsy.
If you like the clog style shoes but want a more minimal/ barefoot style , I would recommend the small brand Everleigh Meadow.

Our styles are very similar. I've been eyeing the Mia clogs for awhile now & have had a hard time finding shoes that go well with all my dresses. Glad to hear they are comfortable. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching! I spent a long time contemplating the Mia clogs before finally deciding on them. I saw so many reviews that said they were uncomfortable. It seems like people either love the fit or hate it. I usually wear barefoot shoes, so I was afraid I wouldn't like the clogs, but I find them more comfortable than most heeled shoes. I really want another pair now!

When you say handmade do you mean hand sewing or a sewing machine? Im looking for tips or a good video on gathering when hand-sewing.....
I use a sewing machine.
Out of curiosity…what size did you get in those stretchy jeans? I think we may be the same size and I was having trouble deciding which size to order! I’m usually a size 14-16 🤔
I got 12 (and I got the short length because I'm only 5' 2". :)
Do you wear long sleeved dresses?
I like them in the cooler months, but I prefer short sleeves in the warmer summer months. Even in the cooler months, I usually gravitate toward short sleeves because I find it more comfortable to pair short-sleeved dresses with a sweater. :)
Do you have a link for the beige v neck dress or the long sleeved dress? I apologize if I missed it. I love your style. It’s very inspiring to me.
