thanks for great to the point reviews, helps a lot 👍
Interesting vid. Ride safe, god bless u all.
I tried one of these and while I loved the concept, it was cheap feeling compared to my Shoei Neotec. It also was noticeably shorter front to back with the chin super close up and tight. Sent it back and got me a new Shoei Neotec II.
This isn't a review, it's just a feature list.
Agree.
Can you please help me how to figure out the friggin chin strap?
What about different lense choices? I have a transitional one for my Shoei. Is there an option for that? Perhaps from a 3rd party company? Would really like this helmet but that's holding me back.
Would this be the best helmet for the new Harley Davidson Sportster S Infotainment System?
Please review the new HJC i100 helmet
I really hope someone can answer this for me. What happened to Suomy Helmets? I see nothing about them on revzilla, or basically any where on youtube. I see pretty much every other brand but them.
It gets a huge amount of air thru the sun visor lever or somewhere around there. I had to put a big tape blocking but...now I can´t use the sun visor. I feel materials a bit cheap. I do not feel it heavy, it´s actually very confortable to me. Speakers sound great if you´re testing at home. Once you´re riding, with all the air coming in, it´s average. With the tape, they sound pretty good.
Correction!!! After 2 hrs of fine use, it just didn´t want to turn on again. It does not respond to any buttons pushing or the app. It just died. LED does not lit anymore. So, pretty much I´ll return it as soon as Revzilla answers my email. It´s a shame. Yes it´s charged or should be. But at this point, wire lits, the helmet doesn´t. and has no vital signs. I already pushed every single button with or without a logical sequence.
Should be waterproof if it’s inside the helmet but I wouldn’t trust Sena again, AU$700 down the dunny because the Sena units are only weatherproof not waterproof.
It really annoys me that each brand will not let you use another brand in the network, about half my friends have one brand, and the rest have another brand, so if we're all riding together, half of us can not communicate with the other half, why can't these brands, just allow us to use the same damned network, it is like if you had an apple iphone, and you couldn't call a google phone from it or the reverse.
you can use direct with universal intercom, i used it with my sena 30k and friend was using my nolan n-com b-5. i never used in a group and its been like 2 years so i have no idea if it still works
I've read that the helmet is really noizy and pretty heavy when riding. Did you do a noice test on this helmet?
It feels heavy to me the shell size is too big for a size small...
When you compare it to other modular helmets w/ comm units built in, the weight is relatively the same +/- an ounce or so. As for noise, $5 at your local pharmacy will get you a jar of ear plugs that will help make every helmet quiet while still being able to listen to music and listen to cars around you.

I just received this helmet and it’s pretty nice! Sounds amazing. But the button that unlatches the chin bar broke after a couple of uses. I think it disconnected from the springs. Anyone know if that’s something I can fix? The shop I ordered from charges a return shipping fee.
Try contacting sena direct
What's the actual spec of the helmet itself? Is it really something I can trust to protect my head??
What are you looking for when you say "actual spec"? Like safety specifications?
@@patrickmchugh8039 yes. Looking at what genuine safety certificates the helmet has. Thanks.
@@phantombusa In the US it is DOT rated only.
SENA says that its ECE 22.05 rated
These are down to $439 on Amazon.
So basically it's a $350 helmet + a $350 comms system.
🗿
Is it ECE rated? For $700, it should be ECE rated.
Just DOT :/
@@MMM-bt4kc No its EC 22:05
It looks like an HJC helmet
After nothing but bad experiences with Sena comms and customer service, I definitely wouldn’t trust one of their helmets.
Biggest waste of money fair now, i never regret for any item buying more then this in my life, buy agv sportmodular or Schuberth C5 :)
I LIVE IN GREECE HOW CANI GET ONE
About $250-$300 overpriced with features you will never need, like the open mesh stuff. What they dont say is if all that functionality only works with other Sena components. The helmet is ok, maybe nice but I'll stick with my current setup that works for me.
As many people have told me, I have a strange shaped head. I took a seven hundred dollar gamble on you-know-where-azon. We'll see.
How’s it working for you? Did you end up keeping it?
@2adave I still have it but I just use it as a helmet. No radio functions or coms.
