Just i have a comment, the music in the background is very distracted focusing on the lesson, so, i hope in the future the videos will be without music..

Is “我儿子长得越来越高了" a serial verb construction (since 高 here is an adjectival verb)?
"高" is an adjective
Both “我儿子 [长得] 越来越高了" and “我儿子越来越高了 [长得] " and "[长得] 越来越高了我儿子" and "越来越高了 [长得] ,我儿子" are correct,the main difference is that everyone’s language habits are different, but they are all correct
高 here is an adverb to describe the verb 长 as the video explained. Adverbs and adjectives are mostly the same in Chinese, depending on their position in a sentence or which of 的地得 they are linking to.
