I have found that when 给我… is used (without 请 or 可以 or anything like that), then it's more of an abrupt command, rather than a request. For example:
    给我出去! = "Get out!"

I don't know why, but even if I turn it on, it says "not eligible". So, I'm not sure why some works and some don't.

I think that 送 can mean "to give", when it's a gift. For example:
作为生日礼物, 我送你一本书 = "I'll give you a book as a birthday present"
I think that 还 (when it's pronounced as huán rather than hái) means "return" or "give back". For example:
请你还书 = "Please return the book"
To do something for somebody, besides 给 I have also seen 替 ("instead of") and 帮 ("by helping"). For example:
"Please open the door for me" = 请你替我打开门 = 请你帮我打开门
