- Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles hosted by IchibanKirei was the biggest Demon Slayer tournament up to date. This is how it went, hope you enjoy the matches. I used Nezuko and Shinobu, played against a solid Sabito and the best Zenitsu EU.

dude GBG is just too clean man. Like watching his zenitsu is so satisfying. Killer set right there good plays Globku
GBG always seems to like using his resources early and putting pressure but makes up for it by being smooth on movement. The guy knows his game.

This was awesome. You did so well against GBG, that I thought you were going to pull it off somehow. I always struggle to be defensive in fighting games and get destroyed by aggressive characters.

bro that combo for the second match is brutal, like the strike distance/strike spread of those sword swings is insane, you'd have to have frame perfect reaction to respond to that
I was in this tournament I had a blast it was fun I didn’t even realize Globku was in it till later on :D.

Bruh 500 dollars prize tournament that a 1 match elimination, have to deal with laggy matches when the host know the game has bad netcode, and says deal with it is what i call. Squid game fighting tournament. The 500 dollars aint worth it

Globku shouldve asked if they allowed remote play lol, the steam remote play server is pretty much silky smooth compared to online play (theres pretty much 0 delay)

Second place EternalxFlight was goated on the makomo. First place was a water Tanjiro kinda unfortunate
I don't know about this Zenitsu. It feels like the only game plan he has is his. When he doesn't clip you with the special he has no idea how to get in. That's at least how it looks to me, someone who has not played this game. Regardless, those were some nice, tense matches.
It's problably because Zenitsu's neutral can be easily punished (I still didn't buy the game too so I'm not sure about this statement) Another possible reason is the energy since he uses lots of moves to extend the combo to the limit.
Well, you're right. GBG spams the special with Zenitsu, and that's his whole gameplan, which is why he lost to some one else immediately after beating Globku because the player he went against obliterated his extreme reliance on Zenitsu's special to get an offensive going. Nonetheless, you kind of have no choice but to spam Zenitsu's special because it's real good and kind of the core of how he's meant to be played.

@@ilay_ux By that I mean that if his game plan doesn't go as expected he has no other options. When you play a competitive game you have a game plan to execute in general as you gauge your opponent.
The players that tend to win tournaments are those who can adapt to what their opponent is doing to counter them. If the opponent cannot adapt to the adaptation, they lose.
The Zenitsu player did nothing different when he lost a round, Globku simply made more mistakes due to tournament pressure. I bet that outside a tournament, with some more matches, Globku could win cleanly every time.

They should really consider Parsec Tournaments. I've played with my friend on PC and it's honestly AMAZING.
It's the best way you can play literally. Feels like 0 input delay. You can react to everything.
