I've an earlier one of these in sparkle red and its a killer guitar. The reason I think the neck P90 doesn't sound dark and woolly is due to the 24 frets, its moved the pickup closer to the bridge and its all the better for it. I actually find the guitar to be a little bright and run the tone pot on 1/2 most of the time. Its the guitar id save in a fire for sure ( after the wife and the child obviously )
I have the Satin Blue Peach Guitars exclusive. I really started and ended my P90 search with this guitar. I would sell my PRS or 335 before this one, there is just nothing else like it. But I have no plans to ever do so.
Greetings from upstate New York in the U.S.! I'm an older gentleman ... like Gabor, and have truly enjoyed your pedal videos for about a year. In fact, I've purchased a few because of your thorough demos and style of presentation. I always assumed you both were talented guitar players ... but this video gave us viewers a window into how good! More of this, as well as keeping it real with your gear demos! Cheers!
What an amazing sounding guitar those P90’s really sound sweet. Alex loving your rock out tune impressive solo. Just no so keen on the look of it but for the rest what an amazing guitar.
I have this exact model. I believe it’s a limited edition color. It’s absolutely one of my keepers, and one of my top 3 guitars I use to test new pedals and new guitars.
i bought one recently, had some tuning problems with it,wouldnt stay in tune, so i upgraded the bridge with a tone pro on recommendation from my luthier he didnt like the plastic saddles on the original one, and replaced the nut with a bone one,all good now nice guitars
Really like this guitar. It sounds great! I recently too have gotten into P-90 style guitars. My friends all play Stratocasters, telecasters, or Humbucker style guitars, so in the hopes of sonic diversity the P-90 is a very easy way for me to stand out from the norm. I imagine this guitar surely would sound nothing like anything else I currently! Thanks for the review!
Soooooo, when are you going to get around to reviewing the Sire S7? I have one and I love it. The Combinata is on my wish list so I'm glad to see you like it.
I've liked the bulk of the range having watched RJ showcase them for quite some time now. So, I was really excited when they landed out here about Christmas last year (from memory). Seeing the cost, unfortunately I became less excited. 😏 I think they do themselves a disservice 'double' shipping (from Korea/Indonesia?) back to the US for inspection and then back out again. Fairly certain Dennis wouldn't wear the cost of that, so it's the overseas customers who pay for lack of quality control coming from their factory. The reality is you can buy an American Pro II Fender cheaper than the bulk of the Rivolta line. And of course plenty of other guitars. And if you're looking for something a bit different even a Yamaha revstar may work at well less than half the price. By all accounts they are excellent sounding and well made guitars (never tried anything Yamaha). Sure you don't exactly get the uniqueness that's Rivolta, but you could buy a Harmony and get plenty of change or a custom guitar from Vander (for example). Not doubting their sound and quality, but there's certainly many other guitars to choose from, including those made in the US or Japan. Oh well...it's always a small market out here and shipping is a fact of life. But, just not double shipping! Thanks fellas. 🎸🎸🎸
Nope, do your research; Europe and UK are not paying for US Transit. There’s a British Rivolta setup shop which serves UK & Europe. So you’re paying for the guitar and a setup by staff in UK if you’re there or in continental Europe. If it’s not worth it to you, buy that Yamaha, they make great inexpensive guitars. I love the design and sound of both, but this sounds better to me than the Yamahas, of course that’s personal opinion. Also it’s one of the best looking instruments of all time. #opinion
I’m still working on the Les Trem tuning issue as well. I ended trying a Gotoh 510FA 10.5mm fixed bridge, which is a beautiful snap in fixed bridge. I’ll try the Duesenberg again soon.

That's obviously a Knock off of a Supro Dual Tone. I like it.

Rivolta are amazing… love the playing with backing tracks… Alex how did you manage to play guitar without Gabor adding any rack effects?🙂
Hahah yes I know! It hardly seems worth it when there aren’t helpful pitch shifts going on everywhere
👍🏻👍🏻
Did not know they switched to Tusq/nylon saddles, mine has steel. Interesting
I have this guitar in toro black and I can't keep it in tune, and its driving crazy!!!!
check the nut, may need recut.

I have same guitar. With the stock strings it jumped out some. Put D'adario strings and nut lube on and no more issues. Plays like it is supposed to .
very early Rickenbacker looking
Yeah...I like it!!
@@TSFAHTPS I do too!
