Karsten Warholm Won't be Stopped !!

We have seen great runs by Alison Dos Santos, 46.8 in Doha, and Rai Benjamin, 46.6 in Los Angeles, but for some reason, all that and Karsten still remains introubled, as he once again shows why he is the best ever, and might be unstoppable come Paris !!

Was very excited to see that he ran this. It means that the top three guys are all currently in their best form, with Rai and Alison opening with some of their best times, and Warholm opening essentially identically to his 2021 season. I remember the build-up to the 2021 final, picking Karsten but being very uncomfortable with that pick. The tension was fun, and we ended up with the greatest year in hurdles to date. It’s looking like it could happen again this year, though even closer as Rai and Alison may be better than in Tokyo while Warholm is appearing to be in similar form as 2021.

Another noteworthy result from this meet was the young Henrietta Jaeger’s 300m PB. Depending on how she develops, she could become a sneaky and solid player in the sprints. She remind be of Dafne Schippers.

And she improved the NR in the 200 dash to 22.58s the week before.
