      The funny thing is his versatility. He can join the sub 10, 20, 44 club next year and if he focuses I think he can get the WR in the 400m. That 300m strength is indicative of what he can do and of course that relay leg as well. I do not see him approaching 9.58 even though many say he's the fastest for his age and on track/ahead of Bolt but I do see him possibly breaking 19.19 as well. No one is simply as close as he is.
      Kerley is a sub 43, mid 19.7 and mid 9.7 guy and is an absolute beast. He should try the 300m once but I don't know if he will care to. Norman's a sub 43.5, low 19.7 and mid 9.8 guy but he's nowhere near his peak form now. WVN is a low 43, mid 19.8 and just sub 10 guy.
      Tebogo is already ahead of WVN in the 100m, exactly where Norman is and behind Kerley's PB. In the 200m, none of the three are even close and it's the same story in the 300m. I do concede he's not done the 400m beyond his 44.29 but he is more than capable of breaking 44, even right now.

    This is why Bolt's record is so beyond what people understand and out of reach for all these guys, He still ran that same closing 100m time as Tebogo's essentially - 9.27s after an insane opening 100m of 9.92s - into a headwind after 7 rounds of qualifying in the 100m/200m already and setting the 100m world record a few days earlier. Freak.

      actually tebogo ran 9.25 not 9.27 in the last 100m so with a lot more pratice on the curve he can make something work cool

    Its highly likely that Tebogo doesnt train sprints anymore. Maybe practice explosive starts by seriously sprinting 30m and stopping. But this guy right here doesnt run sprints in practice anymore, all he does is exercise, gym and condition his body and make sure he has no injuries. thats the only thing that can explain how he is able to run like this race after race without missing a meeting and still clocking fast times. When will he rest?!?

  • @Tredawakandan

    Looking at the splits .. Bednarek just needs to hold his speed better over the last 20m the way Tebogo does.
    Tebogo is the strongest runner between 180-200m in a 200m race, and that includes Lyles. Lyles is so strong between 120-180m though.

    • @zathomas1930
      @zathomas1930 Месяц назад

      Kenny Bednarek is always right there in second place. He's fast, but he needs something to put himself over the top in some of these races. His top end speed doesn't match up to Noah Lyles and Tebogo. I wonder what he could do to put himself over the top or be faster on the top end. He's like Justin Gaitlin in a way of coming up short.

      He just doesn't have it. He has never been under 19.55. Lyles has been under 19.55 eight times. To beat a Tebogo. You have to be a sub 19.55 runner.

      @@zathomas1930 To be fair to Gatlin … he only came up short because he was unlucky enough to be running at the same time as the greatest sprinter ever .. Usain Bolt. Gatlin absolutely dominated the 100m all season in 2015, but somehow the out of form Usain Bolt still won in the WC final.

      @@sf5838 Tebogo didn’t start better though. He often starts poor. If you study the races you’ll see that Tebogo is usually catching people at the end more often than not. This is not because Tebogo speeds up at the end, it’s because everyone else slows down.

    If Tebogo ran 10.3 within the first 100 meters and still finishes 19.55 on the line, that means he can really possible break the world record by running faster on the first 100, which he is capable, and maintain speed on the next 100...just my thought
