The context of this song changes greatly, when you discover it was meant to play while interacting with the previous version of the customizable Guardian who was a customizable Lover, and was supposed to represent the tadpol inside your head, and its attempts at taking control. While the content was cut, the song remained, which honestly was a great decision as its quite iconic.
This is amazing. So how about Raphael's final act next ? Its just that good

Dude... Now I want to play a Bard who plays nothing but heavy metal on his sick magically enchanted electric guitar that's shaped like a dragon and shoots flames as he plays.
I am absolutely mesmerized by this song... For anyone who doesnt know: this song alludes to the possibility of embracing the gifts and love of the Dream Visitor, giving yourself over fully, to stay with them, down by the river in your mind. Sadly this character was changed from EA to a more stern character, instead of a potential lover, changing the original intent of this song. Nevertheless, the theme of giving in to the tadpole, losing yourself, and staying down by the river, hits really hard for me, as i can see an allusion to Drug Abuse and how one can lose himself in the promise of "staying down by the river", not only because of my own personal history, but because i can fully envision the tragic story of a PC that didnt manage to save the day, defeat the villains and get the girl, but one that lost everything and in their defeat, embraced the only love they know....
I can hear what you meant by "summoning your inner-Nightwish" with this one! Fits very well with the song!

Holy cow, I was expecting something good, goofy and fun, but this is just on another level, once again you've outdone yourself, amazing! And close to the source as well.
I haven't played the game yet (money problems), but this cover was awesome.
