I’m not sure why people are pissed over not getting any items or whatnot on harder modes. If you play on hard expecting better loot, it’s not harder. It’s just that both you and the enemy are more OP.
Too bad there ain't a balanced mode Normal is too easy, you can get hit a lot of times before killing a soldier in one hit, in nightmare enemies can kill you in two hits meanwhile you got to dodge, deflect etc, and get maybe 12-15 hits. Haven't tried hard mode yet
I just wish there was a reward for playing on the highest difficulty... I mean, the only other reason I would play on the hardest difficulty, besides achievements or a boost in xp or currency, would be to purposefully challenge myself for an advantage later on... like playing against real players or something, and there isn’t anything like that in this game. And now that I know that playing on the easiest difficulty won’t hinder my ability to get 100% achievements or affect xp/loot efficiency, I’ll have 0 motivation to play on anything other than easy. Of course, I’m going to play on Hard anyways, cause I don’t wanna be a bitch 😂 but when shit gets hard, I’ll be frustrated and annoyed with Ubisoft the entire time, because I won’t be getting anything for my hard work...

If i get all the good items and a higher level early on then how would that make the game harder and more challenging like a hard difficulty is supposed to do? If your enemy gets more hp and attack speed/damage but you get something OP like infinite ammo or something like that then how would that make the game harder and not easier? Hard difficulties are primarily made for the players who completed the game on normal and now want a real challenge, not for those who want the game to hold their hands in front of highly powerful enemies and then giving them the ''i completed this game on hard therefore i am a pro'' badge so they can feel good about themselves while they did nothing else but completing the game almost as easily as in the normal difficulty because of the OP items/powerups they got with the only difference being that the enemies take just a few more hits to be killed.

Origins is straight up ridiculous with it's combat, and level up progression, I just want to go through the damn story, nothing more, I don't want side bullshit, this is Ubisoft's way of saying fuck you to the many fans who hated Syndicate for how it turned out. Why should the game be much harder? Or are you just one of those cancerous git gud idiots? Heck I even have a better time playing Doom 2016 on Ultra Nightmare Difficulty.

Because it's an SP-only game? Sick of games making it harder to have a godlike character similar to something you might find in a PVP-type game for no reason at all. Like 1% more damage per ability point spent, which requires almost 24,000 exp to earn. Ridiculous. Like mentioned, this is the first game in the series to even have the option of changing it. It's merely there for people who want more of a challenge.
AC Games have always been as easy as f*ck it loses it's replay value. You guys remember that "Dark Souls Tutorial Meme"? That Meme explains it all. It's really good that they added some souls game type difficulty levels. It fits perfectly with everything. If you play AC Origins in normal difficulty, enemies barely pose a threat and you will end up resorting to assault. Nightmare Mode will push you to being a true skilled Assassin.
It's just that the npc AI is stupid as fuck, unimmersive and unrealistic. It needed complexity. Im now on my first playthrough and i play on NM. I don't feel like an assasin if the npcs cant realize they are under attack when finding dead bodies. Even if they spot me despite being blind and stupid, no alarm and any punishment for sloppy moves. Still amazing game but the assasin rpg is a bit off, Bayek feels more like stealthy warrior who can just go in and start fucking them up lol.
That's why this game is the worst I couldn't even finish it once just think the people who finished it somehow and they really liked the game but will they play it again never thats why this game is a disaster I finished rdr 2 more than 10 times or the last of us and I won't get bore of them ubisoft just fu... you plz learn how to make video games fun

It’s a wonderful game I’m enjoying it on nightmare mode because I’ve played Batman Arkham knight on the hardest setting.
One of the best games I’ve ever played. Finished it last week. Wanna get the dlc and try it on nightmare mode from the start.

Overcoming a challenge is it's own reward, it makes the game fun.
