This game is a brilliant revival to the franchise that I simply cannot fault, the world in beautiful and the amount of effort put in to the smaller things is truly amazing, so here's just a few. 🎮
Zeno Sama El Dios Sensual uhm. Idk about that. The details are great but the details in the witcher 3 are better. Especially since every detail either comes from your actions or are consequences of it.
What annoys me is that, despite that they try to make everything as realistic as possible, they still let Bayek do the rope-slide with his bare hands. For me, it is not the dust that is falling off, but the smoke from his burning flesh. When the rope were introduced in Revelations, Ezio slided these using a special hidden blade, so that metal was moving over the rope. But for a few games now, they just scraped this idea and make them use their hands -.- .
Mysterios1989 technically he have gloves but it will still hurt as fuck, i know that his hands are shaking from pain after ziplinning but still... better idea would be to use a fucking leather stripes.
I'm a game Dev and I just started this game a few weeks ago while I'm on a break. I can't believe how much work went into this game and I'm so inspired by the level of detail and attention they put into this. This is the type of game that others should try to be. It's 2021 and this game is a total gem and I'm hooked!
Cats follow you even if you run as far as you can get, they eventually catch up lol. I killed one by accident and the game gave me a little spank saying theyre sacred beings.
They are sacred in egypt, Idk why in replying 2 years later, But Once an enemy of egypt sent lots of cats to egypt With army, And the shields of the army had a cat’s image, The pharoah asked his army to not defend because they can’t kill cats as it is the law
The hallucinations were too real. And the stick turning into snake and then into sand was just awesome realism 😍😍 And bayek shaking his head after every hallucination
great vid - great game! There are plenty more details. Bayek can interact with Senu while she's on his arm. petting and feeding her. Also you can warm your hands near camp fires. I like that you can light up fire sconces in tombs or anywhere you find them. Also like how his voice is muffled depending on what is covering his mouth.
21. When slowly walking trough vegetation, Bayek will hold out his hand and move it trough the plants. (Like in the final scene of Gladiator, when Maximus walks trough the wheatfields to his wife and child.) 22. Guards pick up their fallen comrades, and lay them down somewhere else, mostly closed off buildings. 23. The loose sand blowing trough and from the desert dunes, reacts to the weather and moves in the direction of the wind. 24. Every npc has a go-to-sleep routine. 25. When his mouth is covered with some kind of appearal, Bayek's voice will sound muffled. 26. - Insert missed detail here -

Eyes reflect the enviornment, take a horse into the desert and look via camera mode. If a guard is on fire friendly guards will throw sand on him to try and out it out. Guards also will take a piss if they have to.
I've seen Bayek hallucinate a burning bush ... That, snakes turning into staffs, raining frogs and bugs refer to events in the bible to Moses in particular... Which is old testament, and the Pharaoh is thought to be Thutmose II around 1479 BC. The Medjay though are old kingdom and stopped existing after 1077 BC but Cleopatra was kicking around much later from 69 BC onward and Ptolemy died in 47 BC so Origins timeline is a bit out of whack...
I found two new details today: 1. If bayek completely loots and finishes enemies at a base and then goes to a quest that was supposed to tell bayek to do that same thing ( this works if bayek did not accept the quest and completed it without knowing about it) then bayek will reply with something like: Really? By the gods grace it must be a miracle because I've already solved your problem! - I happened to clear some shatraj base in siwa and then going for the blacksmith quest after which I discovered this. 2. Enemies will mock you if you try to escape through water: I know that in previous assassin's creed games you could escape through water because the AI were dumb but here if you attempt to escape through water while being pursued, the enemy might say that: Escaping through water? Nice try, Get him!! And after that youre most likely to die with an arrow in the ass. It happened to me and was quite funny.
those were scarab beetles I think, but the staff and snake definitely was. It’s also a reference to pretty much any Abrahamic religion, as the same story is found in the Koran.
Derpy Derpy i am greek and i have to say that the greek in the game are hilarious..most npcs in the game are people trying to speak greek with british accent :p... i hope if they will make an AC in Greece they will hire up more greek voice actors
I like the Bible story references they added through the hallucinations. Like the burning bush Moses saw (not in video) or the staff Moses turned into a snake, and the locus that rained from the sky in the plagues. All very cool
Shakes hands after zip lining Braziers can be lit with flaming torch Water vegetation ... if swims into a palm tree branch it will be pushed ahead of you while swimming When walking through fields of grain strokes vegetation aka Gladiator death scene (love the many homages to other movies in this game, eg Indiana Jones and the biblical references in many of the hallucinations)
1:56 I think it is unrealistic if the effects of your foot to the sand suddenly pops out the moment you stepped on it, especially the dust and its shadow
Byron Sagun yeah I thought that looked weird too. The second his foot hits the sand the sand changes too quick. In real life it would be a slower change when forming the footstep into the sand. But of course, it’s just a game but still cool. Though many games do this now.
You know you can just hold your parkour button when jumping off a great height to take A LOT less fall damage. If it's not that high, but enough to take fall damage by jumping of the normal way, u'll take no damage when doing this. Same thing goes for Odyssey
I bought this game when it first came out put about 17 hours into it stoped playing. 2 years later picked it back up and now I can’t stop playing. I now have 55 hours and still going strong 💪!!!!!
That detail that you can pet cats and they'll follow you is for real cause I was trying to be stealthy in enemy camp, crouched in a tower for a long time to see how many guards there were and then I noticed that suddenly there were 5 or 6 or at least 8 cats surrounding me. And I was like WTF *Me:* (with senu) Mmh 1,2,3,4.......5,6........7,8,9,10 there are more over there, God (Back to Bayek) *Cats:* Meow! Meow, meow *Me:* what the... Now it's not the right moment, cats...... How did they get here.... Jesus how many cats (I pet one) *Guard:* (Sees me but he doesn't get alerted) What? Who's over there? *Me:* They nearly saw me *Cats:* Meow *Me:* No shh cats, you guys distracted me
A cool detail i found out while waiting for night so i could play a side mission (i did not have the ability to speed time unlocked) is that if you crouch at the front of a cat then Bayek will start patting him. I don't know if this applies to other animals but it is a pretty cool detail
When you killed that fat lady Gaia who kidnapped children on the streets into slavery, the Mortem Romanum quests completed but if you could find Nef's house where Kawit (the quest giver lives) theres some interesting extra dialogues :).
Some are interesting, like hallucinating in the desert, but most are just the usual particle effects and character animations you would expect to see in a modern big budget game. Maybe if this was an older game, then it may been impressive, but even then stuff like Senu coming to you is just an idle animation and they've been standard for many years.

It is highly commendable the level of realism Ubisoft has put to the environment in this game. But they forgot to put enough realism in the combat. The way bayek and NPCs move so fast and still swing sword and shoot arrows makes it look unrealistic. AC unity had one of the best combat mechanics in my opinion. Ubisoft should bring in the free roam combat it had brought in the Prince of Persia warrior within, which is my favorite combat system of all time.
How can you forgot setting a fire trap with oil jugs only to realize at the last second that you were stepping in oil the whole time and you get burned from your own trap? Or peeking over straw railings while having a fire arrow drawn leads to some hot times? The way combustibles and fire work in this game really changes the tactics of gameplay. I once had a fight where I was planning my attack and then a random horse came by spooked some civilians, the horse ran into me, we accidentally broke an oil vase which started a massive fire; at the same time two hippos started attacking the guards and civs. I used all of this chaos to hit my mark and then just stayed back and watched. Quite a few dead: a number of guards, 5 civilians, 4 horses, and the hippos. The whole area was pure carbon because of the wildfire. I said a prayer for those lost and then moved on. A similar deal happened on a civilian ship with lions...that was scary.

Great details are in this game and in AC Odyssey they removed some of them of course classic Ubisoft.
But this game is awesome.

If you press O/B while jumping into the water (even if not from a great height) Bayek will automatically dive.
Bayek is too badass to use a weapon or something on a zipline. He uses his bare hands and doesn't care if his skin burns off.
When doing a mission where you have to help and pick up a hurt character, you can put him in water and he will lay on his back floating xD

There's also an achivinent for hallucinations in the desert that requires you to actually witness one.

It is highly commendable the level of realism Ubisoft has put to the environment in this game. But they forgot to put enough realism in the combat. The way bayek and NPCs move so fast and still swing sword and shoot arrows makes it look unrealistic. AC unity had one of the best combat mechanics in my opinion. Ubisoft should bring in the free roam combat it had brought in the Prince of Persia warrior within, which is my favorite combat system of all time.
How can you forgot setting a fire trap with oil jugs only to realize at the last second that you were stepping in oil the whole time and you get burned from your own trap? Or peeking over straw railings while having a fire arrow drawn leads to some hot times? The way combustibles and fire work in this game really changes the tactics of gameplay.
I once had a fight where I was planning my attack and then a random horse came by spooked some civilians, the horse ran into me, we accidentally broke an oil vase which started a massive fire; at the same time two hippos started attacking the guards and civs. I used all of this chaos to hit my mark and then just stayed back and watched. Quite a few dead: a number of guards, 5 civilians, 4 horses, and the hippos. The whole area was pure carbon because of the wildfire. I said a prayer for those lost and then moved on. A similar deal happened on a civilian ship with lions...that was scary.
