Important!! Sorry you guys, last part of the 3rd solo is a tad different, my goal is to help you guys develop how to play over chord progressions, not copy all the solos, I hope this was clear. Mustafa, what you do for the community that loves pink floyd and David Gilmour is amazing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! It is a pleasure to participate in the patreon here in Brazil!!!
9:20 was the part i was talking about on Patreon, the one you played that is not tabbed. It really started me out liking the 2006 version. That is such a touching lick, so smooth and warm, just resolves sooo well. Glad I found it!
Another great video, cheers! Although, i was really looking forward to the 3rd solo from the Pulse dvd and, although your improv version was great…I was disappointed to not see you break down the solo i was hoping for. BUT…as i said, another great video. Looking forward to Learning to Fly and ABITW P2…preferably as they were played and not so much of the improv…me being selfish! Keep up the great work! 🎸
Hey Hey Bud! Been listening to Floyd since '85,And have really gotten into all the solos of Gilmour from '97. REALLY prefer to learn and play David's solos from '86 to present. DUDE! I GOTTA be honest,Only because I know and REALLY paid attention to his solos,I can catch subtle differences between the two of you,But so very few. You ARE the SHIZZNIT!!😊
@@mustyguitar Anytime! You're superior playing/talent,And what you're doing here is nothing less than FANTASTIC!! Keep on keepin on Bud!! Our crazy world NEEDS more music and people like YOU to help them with it!!👊✌
Hi Mustafa. I'm kinda intrigued by the tone of 2nd & 3rd solos for this song on division bell album. Does Gilmour play them on 2nd position or neck position on Strat? Did he use rotary in the end of the chain as well? Pls throw some light on this

It’s probably middle + neck pickup, not middle and bridge, also probably rotary there, but very low.
sorry, what is the rubber band in your right hand for? First time i look this! Ciao from Italy
What effects are you using besides delay and overdrive/boost? Is this a flanger/electric mistress or a phaser? Is there any Chorus there as well?
Tone guides, tabs and backing tracks are at my Patreon
What’s up with the rubber band around your wrist? Having some cramping issues?
WHAT rope gauge do you use?
What's your favourite floyd studio album?
not favorite, but if I had to listen only one album for the rest of my life, i'd be animals
