Ha me too! My big baby has been beat up through the years as well. I used to take it everywhere with me. From my boys smacking around when they were babies, to taking it up to over 11,000+ elevation high in the Rockies, it's the guitar in my collection with the most hours. Climbing to Janet's Cabin of the 10th Mountian Division Huts in the middle of winter one year, I lost my balance coming down a cornace on my snowboard and I tumbled with the brown soft guitar case and my backpack. Upon getting to our hut, I opened the case and noticed it cracked and delaminated along the corner where your elbow sits. I was crushed - an lo and behold, there was a house guitar up there to boot, along with years of people leaving strings behind. Set up for a bad weekend but nonetheless, brought it home and clamped it back down with wood glue. It still sounds great and is my #1 acoustic to this day. About 20 years old now. Many stories with that guitar. Cheers!
