It’s a relief to see so many people enjoy the farming content. I wasn’t sure how it would be received on a channel that mainly focuses on racing. Keeping this ground in our family is a big part of our lives and this channel helps make it happen. It was a major leap of faith to hire Jeremy full time this year, but it’s probably the best thing I could have done. Thank you all for the love and support. -Bill
Hey old man I have a couple 4 bolt main 350s one is a GM good wrench block and I do not know what the other one is but do you know what they are worth???
Bill, I’ve seen comment after comment going back to probly before you rebranded the channel from folks saying that if you put out videos of you mowing the yard on your little John Deere, or the turd barrels fertilizing the grass, or just put a GoPro above the back door facing the shop catching the coming and going’s of the SRC & Old Mans Garage Team and we would line up to watch it and I know you haven’t believed any of us when we’ve said it but it’s the honest to gods truth Bill! There is just something that is magical about you and the entire family that we are all drawn to and can’t get enough of. You help others remember and relive past memories of spending time with their dads growing up, learning to race, etc. the Vicki clips which many times don’t have anything to do with racing except for “Details” is many times some of the best footage although some clips of the turd barrels giving us the Parrot Eye has got to be a close second, lol. I personally love seeing any and all video clips from the farm whether it’s on Uncle Bucko cam trying to get half & half’s head unstuck from the fence or he’s repairing the combine to run beans, whatever it is brother, we find it enjoyable, relaxing, soothing and more times than not, educational. Your videos, regardless of the content, helps us forget about all of the negativity going on outside of your channel in the real world that is causing real pain to most of us out here and it honestly helps us Bill. We feel a connection to you and your family which makes us root and pull that much harder for you all when your trying to make last second repairs on cars or a truck going into the finals and sometimes by the grace of god our prayers for you all get answered and the boys make a winning run and sometimes we learn that it’s just not our week but regardless of what you post, racing content, old train rides thru beautiful gods country, trips to Kentucky to visit Gina Rose, taking young Tommy to lunch at Roosters with a bottle of A-1 in tow, mowing the yard or watching Kenny Powers fox a trailer or washing the cars, or just rolling that beautiful bean footage and seeing your Dad at least able to get out in the field and supervise you two rookie farmers, we love it all Bill, we are here to support you and the family no matter what you put out for us!! When we say we don’t care what you put out, we are sincere and honest that we really don’t care and we will watch it all. You guys have had a fantastic year this year. Lots of ups and quite a few downs. But we are here to watch it all. I usually watch each video 4 to 5 times back to back when they come out cause I see different things I missed the first couple times, and I’ve heard others say the same. If we weren’t that interested, we wouldn’t do that. We are excited about what the future holds for you all Bill and we are here to support you all the way!! This has gotten plenty long so I’ll end it here but please keep doing what your doing, take care and be safe out there and thank you for taking us on all of your adventures!! We love you and the entire family and wish you nothing but the best in everything your family does!! PS: and thank you for introducing us to Mark at a-1, Uncle Bob, staff at JEGS 11th Ave, Lucore Automotive monkeys, and all others I can’t list right now. Every single one adds a significant piece of success to this channel and it wouldn’t be what it is without every one of them, but especially you and Vicki!! You all are a lucky and blessed family but it was all from years of hard work and determination that comes from the Buckeye Spirit!!! Take care my friend!
Seeing you and your family come together as a team to make sure us the viewers get the great content we get from your channel, SRC and Gen 2 , is a hard thing to find these days. I think people need to see more channels like yours. Bill you have a wonderful family. Keep up all the hard work. Love you guys.
Boy watching that old Gleaner brings back memories of my early teens I've sat in an old machine just like that a many of years running beans on my grandfather's feilds have 9 other cousins that weren't worth a shit at helping him so I was the one that always did those were pretty ruff days but looking back on it now I wouldn't have changed a think those years spent with my grandfather has made me the man I am today I sure miss that ole man he was the toughest the most caring and most honest man I've ever known in my life they sure don't make them like that anymore.
There's something about seeing the Old farm equipment out in the field working it's just so satisfying to see pieces of history still getting it done today.
@@donaldgminski8621 in my area little farmers are few and far between. Most people here if they have less than 200 acres and they just rent it to a bigger farmer. I personally own a few acres of land and raise a few head of cattle so I know there are some of us out there making little farms work.
Seriously brings a tear to my eye to see the way small farms are treated by our politicians on both sides. I hope YT makes it able to keep YOUR land in your family.
Bill I gotta hand it to you!! You never cease to amaze us. ✨️ Did you ever think, when you were younger, that you would end up wearing ALL these hats. Your a excavator, farmer, husband, father, friend, brother, producer, director, actor, photographer, editor, writer, inventor, mechanic, ....etc..etc.. on and on! Keep doing what you do, you are blessed! Thanks for bringing us all into your 🌎 world. It's FUN!!!!!
I know it's all in good fun, but it's hilarious when Uncle Bucko thanks he is bothering Mark, when all he is doing is lining his pockets. Good for you Mark
Poor Jeremy, when does he get to sleep? Leap of faith, he helps make the OMG world go round. As does Kenny, Harley, and Rob...Vicky and the boys and yours truly the Old Man too...But Jeremy is pretty much always there both day and night when needed, and he is needed a lot! A purt darned handy too. Stumping the chumps is not easy work. Lol
Guys like Jeremy are so valuable. They can fix anything around the house or shop. No need to waist money calling someone when you can fix it yourself👍🏻
It is about time Mark, but I think you know, that the Hoskinson Family could not live without you, and Superior Auto Parts (and your faithful employees Things 1&2, and Jegs, Uncle Bob McVey, Lucore, and a few others, (and their loyal employees, and still do all the racing, and carry off 3 highly successful RUclips channels all at the same time. But, you, and your favorite. Parts man service, and undying experience of having and getting all the things you do,...help keep everything running that needs to run, and all that is integral, to make everything work. You are a magic man sir!
Rising tide lifts all boats … it’s great to see how everyone has sorta risen to the occasion from the parts store , machine shop , hell even Uncle Bucko and the mail lady who goes #2 all play their roles seamlessly. It’s like this whole thing was destin to be . Congrats Ole Man it’s quiet an ensemble you’ve orchestrated
I think it's amazing seeing old farm equipment like your dad's combine still running in the fields. It shows that you don't need a $200,000 + combine to pick crops out of fields. I understand that your dad doesn't have hundreds or thousands of acres to do. But it's still amazes me to see old stuff like that still running around. But you don't see much of those old ones running around anymore. Especially on small farms like your dad and family has.
Worked there for a few years in the early 2000s. I've been around the world on adventures since then and I will always look back at my time at autozone as the best time of my life. It was stupid easy work and I made two of the best friends a guy could ask for. I would give anything to go back.
Uncle Bucko is one hard working dude. When he ain't working at "Old Man's Garage" he is working at the farm, when he is not working at the farm he is working at his new home, when he is not working there he gets a little time to work on his own projects.
There are a number of channels for good racing content, but there is only one The Old Man's Garage that has great racing content plus great family content. Your family is a live demonstration of what built this great nation, work hard, play hard and love each other deeply. Thank you for reminding us what is really important.❤
Damn Bill your videos are amazing. I just noticed it with your vacation video at how much time you put into getting certain shot's. Like the scenes of the truck driving and the drone shot's add so much. Great job
Thank you. It’s difficult to enjoy yourself when your mind is constantly trying to figure out shots and angles, staying out of shadows, avoiding reflections, etc. My brain never stops, but sometimes when it does I don’t want to get up and get started again. I think they call that exhaustion.
Never thought I would be so consumed with watching someone "Run Beans" but it was very rewarding. Glad Uncle Bucko and yourself were able to get it done.
The look on Ms Vicki's face when you said you through big rocks in the bed of her pickup was priceless!!! 🤣LOVED the chipmunking!! Uncle Bucko needs to give a status report on his buddy 50/50 next time he's up at the farm.
Bill, I grew up in Indiana and worked for the farmer that lived behind my parents house for ten years from the time I was 12. He had about 140 acres and share cropped with another family so we worked about 300 acres total and I fed almost 2000 hogs every day. Some automated and some hand shoveled. I watched him lose everything except the house during the big farm crunch of the eighties. And then I ended up working in car dealerships after. But I have always missed that job and would still be thier today if possible. I learned alot about work ethics and that a hard job isn't necessarily a bad job.
Bill I bet your dad was happy getting to watch his beans being harvested I'm sure it's alot of work keeping the combine running my hats off to you and uncle bucko for helping everyone that needs help. I'm proud of Allison for her personal best and she only going to get faster keep up the awesome content and as always be safe 👍
Bill I really enjoy watching all 3 channels because they show how when a family works together anything is possible and i continue to learn more everyday about tuning carburetors thank you again for letting us into your everyday life
Really enjoy the variety of the channel , especially the bean picking and Old farm equipment. Great story on the farm. The 64 looked great as a survivor and I was sceptical when you started hot roding it. Now I am a convert !! That truck is cooler by the day...
Great job y`all getting those beans off for mom and dad!! Bill it`s good to see your dad out supervising, it looks like all the prayers for him have worked.
Miss my parents so Much. I love your channel idk how many times I have to tell you bill. Lol. You have no clue how much your channel helps me get through.
Another great video. I love the part of getting the beans out and going to the mill. Looks like uncle Bucko has the combine running like a champ. Glad Gen II got the dart running, the 400 SBC for the 64 C-10 is going to be great.
Uncle Bucko is one hell of a guy ,bill should give his brother a hug for all the work that he does keep up the great work guys love the videos from Canada 🇨🇦
nothing better than watching a farming video no matter if its chores or planting or harvesting...congrats to jeremy for getting that harvester up and running for another season.
Everyone's running beans around my house too! Reminds me of my childhood and that there is still countryside to enjoy these days... glad to see those 2 old combines still running, when they are right you can't beat em. Great content and can't wait to see the dyno video!
Im in Southern NY State visiting my girlfriend this week. Im also wearing my Oldmans Garage button up shirt. Ive gotten a few compliments on the shirt. Im sure to tell the meaning of the shirt.
Good stuff all around Bill! Seeing you and the family pulling together to get the bean crop in warms my heart, hard enough to keep a farm these days and I know it likely cost ya more than the crop's actual worth to do it... but some things are just more important, like that family history. Yer good men, one and all, and my hat is off to ya for the effort.
Allis chamlers literally put themselves out of business, built to good of equipment 50 years ago. Makes me happy to see a k or f series still running. We have a 55 deere it was built in the early 60s.
Can't wait to see what this new stump puller of a 400 small block will do! Nice thing about building a lower compression motor, still going to make decent power AND run on low octane (cheaper) fuels... annnnnd if some day she ever wants to throw a little bit of boost at it... 😉 Awesome to see that dart running and driving under it's own power too, next year is going to be pretty wild with all these rides!
It's not just the racing, it's the whole package we tune in for. Especially for those of us outside the US. Really appreciate all the time and effort that goes into these channels. Thanks to everyone involved your a great team!!
You did an absolutely amazing job with all the explanations and how you slow down to explain time slips what what means and reading the plugs it was hard to see plugs. So that said I think it would make a killer video to keep one plug each time it runs hot or lean and then you can do a video on showing how to read the plugs correctly I know I'd love that!
Something very cool about you and Uncle Bucko running beans and your dad watching. I’m sure he was relieved to see the beans being harvested. You guys have a lot going on right now. Appreciate the early upload although I couldn’t watch until this morning. Just seems sac-religious to watch OMG video during the day/evening. Gotta be first thing in the morning for me. Thanks Bill
Hey Bill! Loved the content! You are so right about U Buck Oh he without a doubt a hard working man and he will help anyone. You don’t find them like him anymore. But that’s pretty much the way your whole family is. Help one another. So glad to see Allison back racing she tries so hard and does a great job. Well you guys stay safe. 😀😀❤️
I get so much entertainment out of all these videos including SRC, and Gen2 Garage I can never wait for the next one to drop it doesn't matter which one it comes from they are all good!
It's nice to see the crops getting done. I hope to see the 400 on the dyno to see what the numbers are. As always I enjoy your videos, keep them coming. Also like the gasoline is freedom logo.
Love all the content racing ,farming playing with dogs or just cruising around AMERICAN MADE!! Glad your dad is doing better and abell to check on you boys running his beans! GOD BLESS everybody!

It's great that you and Uncle Bucko are taking care of the farm and equipment for your mom and Dad.
Love seeing the farm!
Yeah,, me too and those drone shots are cool as all get out :)
Would love to deer hunt in those bean fields

Always like to see some farming especially with antique equipment
Uncle Bucko gives Mark hell!😂 Love the farm content!
Love to see the work at the Farm. Nice to see the other side of things and a break from the Racing👍

Well Jeremy, you are the pecker in the pecking order😂
It's nice to see dad up and around ☺
I like old school headlights......that is all.

Allis chamlers literally put themselves out of business, built to good of equipment 50 years ago. Makes me happy to see a k or f series still running. We have a 55 deere it was built in the early 60s.
June pup gonna leave paw prints on that beautiful seat!
Can't wait to see what this new stump puller of a 400 small block will do! Nice thing about building a lower compression motor, still going to make decent power AND run on low octane (cheaper) fuels... annnnnd if some day she ever wants to throw a little bit of boost at it... 😉
Awesome to see that dart running and driving under it's own power too, next year is going to be pretty wild with all these rides!
That 400 hundred will make about 370hp and 425 ft lbs. Should pull real good 😎
@@attitudeadjusted9027 I think you right around there. My ok man loved 400’s
Favourite time of the day 😁
It's not just the racing, it's the whole package we tune in for.
with everything that's actually broken I'm surprised to see an engine build for something that's working
Great video bill.
MY FAVORITE GARAGE CHANNEL 😁👍
Good to see everyone is helping out on the farm. A true American Family!!! Lots going on and more to come! We can’t wait
