Hello Amy! Thank you for videos! I just started to learn how to use the cricut machine. And watching your videos help me a lot ☺️. I have a question so when I type a text I ungroup the letter and once I finish i group them again. But when I am going to print them, they show in the screen out of order or I have letters missing. Can you make a video about that. Or help me w that 😬🤗 Thank you ❤️
Thanks for this video Amy, I just go an explore air 2 for Christmas from my bf and I am so excited to start my projects! I know you said the mug is for handwashing, but do you think that putting the mug in the microwave would be ok to warm up hot drinks?

Hi Amy, Bought my Cricut in mid December. I made candy boxes and ornaments, all paper craft. Got a little daring. Lol and cut some circles in chalkboard vinyl for jars filled with nuts I roasted. Truly, I was wondering why I bought a Cricut as I’m not crafty. I’m never putting a wooden disk with text and on my front door lol. Crafty or just tacky? Then, I watched this video and liked the projects every much. Now the ideas are flowing. I paint and draw, so I’m hoping somehow I could put my art into design space. That’s in the future. You are so kind to us. Thank you for all your help. ❤️
Interesting... I never use the regular Vinyl setting either. It never cuts all the way through. I always, no matter the vinyl, set it to (from memory) Premium Vinyl (I think that's the setting; it might be Permanent Vinyl) and cut all vinyl with that. I find it cuts much more reliably even with small details where the blade doesn't have a lot of room to move.
I just got my cricut maker this holiday and can't wait to use it to label my waterbottle that ill gonna be used in the hospital for when i gave birth due on feb and a birth announcement..excited!
The iron on setting cuts better because the material is thicker. It will cut a little bit deeper than the regular vinyl setting. For some odd reason, it works better for thinner letter cuts also.

I'm a mother to a beautiful daughter and my fiance has a job but I want to make some more income. I really enjoy watching you... I got the cricut joy bundle off of Walmart.

Sweet video! Is the iron-on setting better than the premium vinyl setting with extra pressure for the cut? If yes, Why?

Vinyl is made of PVC (plastic) and not considered microwave safe. HTH!

(Also I never take anything off the mat BEFORE weeding. Leaving it on the mat is like having a second set of hands!)
