I'd recommend Lemonade Mouth! It's one of the most well-made Disney Channel movies in my opinion. It has characters with depth, and really great music. (think The Breakfast Club if the characters were a band)

Fun Fact: Zac Effron didn't sing in the first movie at all (because he couldn't hit the high notes). The voice you hear belongs to Drew Seeley

Exactly. But his voice sounds amazing in the other two movies! In my opinion his voice is even better then Drew's. And you can see how he was way more connected to the songs and the character in the other movies!

Yep. For both high school and middle school my (female) gym teachers had an office connected to the locker room.
In the US the first “class” of the day is homeroom, it lasts about 15 minutes and is just for school news/letting the kids prepare for actual class lmao. Loved the reaction tho

I'm American, but I'm also homeschooled, so I had no idea lol
I'm in England and we do this too but it's called 'tutor time' and lasts 30mins
In Australia we don't have this. Some high schools (not all of them though) have a shorter lesson partway through the day, like at my school it's the second period of the day, which is basically Homeroom.

Fun fact: a different version of High School Musical exists for latin american kids where all the songs are in latin american styles and instead of basketball they play soccer.
Edit: I decided to fact check myself so I looked further into it and turns out there are mexican, brazilian and argentinan versions of high school musical, with different styles of music and slightly different plots, from what I understand.
What?? I'm from Argentina and the movie they play in Disney is the exact same, is just in spanish, but the songs are in english with subtitles

Now thats nostalgia!! Didn't even watch it when it came out but still.
"Breaking free" and "We're all in this together" were kind of the theme songs of my last year of school. It was played over and over by my classmates especially in the last week, where we have kind of a themeweek, so everybody comes dressed up. It was so fun!!

This movie is both incredibly nostalgic and fun to watch but also cringey and kind of annoying at times, but sometimes you just need those vibes.

If you didn't enjoy Troy's voice it wasn't actually Zac singing as he didn't know how to sing in the first movie but in the other movies he was singing

I think it was puberty. His voice was changing during the first movie so his voice wasn’t great singing

2 and 3 are so much better than the first and no one can change my mind. I feel like people only love the first movie because of nostalgia, and I know I do too to some degree, but the sequels hold up so erll and have a better story/plot, better songs, better acting, etc. It's just only improvements as you go.
i love this movie so much (and me and my friend are making our own high school musical haha) but what's fascinating is that it was filmed in utah, plus the high school musical: the series was filmed at alta which is where i go to, plus at eastmond high (the original set)

As someone that just left high school they totally still do put kids faces on the front of huge posters. My schools basketball is cheerleading and that team is front and center in the school
My dad had all 3 soundtracks on his ipod when I was younger and to this day he wont skip them and claims theyre only on there for me

At some high schools (especially rich ones) around where I live, they actually do make banners of their sports players. However they usually hang them on the field they play on. It’s a big flex on certain schools in my area
