I’ve heard so many people say the church is full of hypocrites and judgemental people. Surely every church is different and every person IN a church is very different, but MY experience as a person who was redeemed from addiction and near homelessness is that CHRISTIANS were the ones who were the hands and feet of God to me in my brokenness. I have experienced the LOVE of God through the body of Christ, and I have been sheltered from my own life’s storms by the covering of the church. I don’t know where all these other folks have experienced such judgement and hatred, but I promise loving faith filled people are the salt and light of the earth❤ and they do exist. Jesus showed us how to love.

As someone who grew up in a really toxic and hateful church, it’s truly incredible seeing that there still are real Christians in this world who truly love and care about other people.

On Monday I'm taking my two nieces (7&3) on a date. (we go on dates about once a month)
We're getting our nails done, going for sushi, then we're going to shop for a present a toy drive. They love firetrucks, and there are several fire stations accepting donations.
I'm genuinely excited to see them shop for a toy for a child they don't know.
Then I fill them with sugar and return them to my sister and BIL full of sugar.
As someone who grew up going to many different churches to find the best one, I know how difficult it can be in a toxic church. Especially some of the bigger ones which are filled with rich hypocrites. But, let me tell you, we do not all act as such, you just need to find the community for you. It took my whole life just to find my current one last year, and it's changed my life for the better, so don't give up hope.
Being a Christian doesn't make you perfect, it makes you redeemed.
Its a better world 🌎 when we help each other.
These are real Christians, no judgement just love.
Read the Bible, these people are better than the monsterous God in that book.

God sent His only begotten son to live a perfect life, so He could be the final sacrifice to save us. His blood washed away all of our sins. The death of our perfect and precious Savior. That is the real love that God has for humanity. Loving us even when we rejected Him and chose sin. He didnt take away our free will and make us obeying robots, but he gave us the choice and the bridge. ❤️
Humble your heart and pray to God. Read the bible. No need for religion. No need for church. Just seek a relationship with our wonderous Creator.. and he will give it to you. You are precious to Him and he loves you.

I know it’s pretty common to see rude or corrupt churches on social media, or even Christian’s acting out of line, but there are genuine ones that show nothing but love and respect for everyone.
You don't have to be "religious". Jesus hated religion. It suffocates the soul. The only religious doctrine we need is Christ and him crucified so that we might live, and to love others as He loves us.

My church kicked me and my kids out cause in thier eyes I was poor . Truth was
I was fighting cancer, my husband left me and our kids homeless. We lived in a campground i worked 40 hours a week while doing cancer treatment just to stay at that campground.
But to me i was rich. Kids and i was frèe of an abuse home, God woke me up and gave me the strength to beat cancer,abuse,homeless.
I've been reading such sad stories in the comments of so called churches who sounds like they are more like cults.
They should be ashamed for excluding you based on how much you possess. On the other hand... Be glad that these people no longer occupy a space within your families life that could be occupied with people who care about you.

Yeah I lost my faith quite a few years ago, the final straw was some particularly cruel treatment I received from "devout christians" but this is a nice reminder of the kindness the church can offer, there are many truly kind souls, it's a shame how much their kindness can be overshadowed by genuinely horrible people in their congregation.

Being religious just means a belief and adherance to the teachings of a religion, you can go to church but it's not a requirement. You just have to be a good example of the belief you carry. Zealots abusing the collective for their own selfishness are the modern day merchants Jesus whipped and beat out of his father's home. Believe it or not, if yku follow common courtesy and display simple love and kindness towards those you meet, you're more religious than most people claiming to be such.
Yup! Christian love is so unconditional. Unless you're gay. Or you disagree with the status quo in your church. Or until a pastor who's wife dies decides to remarry. Or until a little girl gets raped by a clergy member and tries to speak up about it. Then the love seems to be pretty fuckin conditional.

Christianity isn't a branch of different religions.
Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Orthodoxes, Methodists, etc... are not Christians.
They have beliefs, teachings and ideologies that are not in the Bible.
To be a true follower of Christ, a Christian, you have to obey the Word of God (The Bible - King James Version (KJV)) and only that.

This is what it’s all about for us. It’s not really that difficult. Sometimes we don’t do what we should. What I think is awesome is how strongly our morals compel us to do these things for people. It is really awesome. Even if you don’t believe in a god, this is what we consider the work of ours. It’s super cool to see the better side of it. I’m not that great about reading my bible or going to church, but this kind of thing is what fuels my love and belief in God. It’s like an invisible force almost. It’s super fascinating to me. Sometimes things play out in such a way that it can’t be coincidence. I feel that anyone without a religion is able to believe what they want. But I also find that even if you don’t believe fully, most of the time just trying to be what religion wants you to be can make you a better person. Then again, each to his own. I can’t say what’s best for anyone but myself. I’m not the best person in the eyes of my religion but I can say that it’s worth it. Most of the time it benefits people and radical views are a little bit more clearly just the weirdos adopting the religion for their own personal gain.

That’s why I loved my church as well. Some people and organizations are truly for their people & my church was one of them. The donation box sometimes gathered dust, which is a testament to how much they focused on the word of god & not the money. Plus, everyone loves each other like family & visit each other frequently. I wish it was like this in every church, but the reality is they will sing songs and repeat the word of the Bible.. then stick a basket out on however long of a stick possible to reach you for money

How bout just help a man without pushing your own narrative or religious agenda at least until the man shows interest in your religion, helping him cause he needs help not because you wanna gain a new follower or feel favored by god for pushing your religion on to a man that you don't even know if you share the same beliefs with. Imagine if other cultures and religions went around trying to indoctrinate people like that. Most of those people wouldn't even look at the man unless they have an audience that will cheer them for it. If your morality is completely derived out of religion then you have only borrowed morality for the sole purpose of impressing an imaginary being in hopes to gain some sort of reward in life or in their death.

I'm proud to say that I see all the young and new parents of today teaching their kids how to be beautiful humans, helping break them away from toxic cycles. All I can say guys is that the upcoming generation are going to be a generation of people who are kind and loving and one with themselves.

Yes. Simply know religion and God are both neccesary. Religion is exactly what is needed otherwise we arent with God and much less ourselves and each other. Of course Great Christians are but more than mere existing. They're people of God. You could be an atheist and still be religious but not believe in God. That's my father. Eventually once I get a job. I'll win him to Jesus Christ. What is hard to believe are Great atheists. And objectively the truth is there obviously isn't that many. Because withought Christians. The whole world is a hell hole. The whole world is linen with the fabric space time continuum of morality and moral good. Being Christianity. Affects those around Christians.
