I don't do oils on my scalp but I do scalp massages anytime I'm stretching out my wash day and honestly it helps significantly. I can go from one a week to once a month. (Still prefer once a week though 😉)

Awww thanks for watching!!! And I understand to clarify I do mean more raw oils and butters cause technically they are in the products we use already. And in a healthy scalp case in our head lol. I’ve been learning to see what products under those categories actually work for me or an unnecessary!

I think the layers that you did were stunning! 😊😊❤ I am doing passion twists, and I was wondering, do you have any tips on how to keep moisture in your hair while in a protective style? I have 4A type hair and low porosity, so it is hard for me to get maximum hydration. But thank you for all you do for the curly hair community!
I have to wash mine anyway, and that keeps it moisturized.
My scalp never has buildup and I use oil. I havent had buildup for years. I think its more hormones than anything. I dont oil my scalp directly though. Just my hair
