    I’m fkn crying 😅😅😅😅😅 had me weak throughout the entire video. I’m not gonna lie, i used that honey once and it sat underneath my bathroom sink for a year before i finally tossed it in the trash so i get it. DE products help with thick hair, especially with the detangling n things. You’re hilarious. I love your hair. Stay natural and beautiful 🎉🎉❤❤

    I had the same reaction when it came to using the honey leave when I used it for the first time . The warming feeling is normal, and it does take some time for your hair to get used to it but once your hair does it works at gives nice hydration. It works best if you put a plastic cap on for about 5 mins especially if you use heat. Also I don’t recommend using for a wash n go unless you have a loose curl pattern. I always use it before and after protecting styles for moisture.

    • @TruleyTalentedBeauty
      @TruleyTalentedBeauty  Год назад +3

      Wowww. Here I was thinking I was crazy!! So do you typically use this on damp-dry hair instead of wet hair? And is it something you use first or after another product?

    • @TheMarsha66lbs
      @TheMarsha66lbs Год назад

      I find that it works better for me when I mix it with a cream leave-in.

    • @lyrika1862
      @lyrika1862 Год назад +1

      @@TruleyTalentedBeauty I mainly use it when my hair is wet, but I have high porosity so my hair tends to soak it up right away. I let it sit in my hair with a plastic cap for about 10-15 mins before using any cream stylers- I learned the hard way not to add a styler on top right after use. Also I learned not to be heavy handed with this product because since it is so syrupy it tends just to sit on top of my hair and takes forever to absorb. So I tend to only use a nickel size per section before adding more if needed.

    • @lyrika1862
      @lyrika1862 Год назад

      @@TheMarsha66lbs I will have to try that again I tried mixing it with one of my cream stylers in the past and it didn’t mesh well.

    Normally I’m a silent subscriber lol but today I decided to comment. That is my favoriteeeeee mousse it’s amazing. If you put curl maker underneath that mousse you will love the results. I couldn’t get with the leave in either😂 the smell was soooo overwhelming I got a migraine and I had to use a ton because I’m high porosity and my hair still wasn’t really moisturized. Love the video as usual ❤

    I find the mousse works best with a leave-in and/or cream. It gave me a bomb twist out with moisture and definition. I really like this mousse it the best one i have tried thus far. The Doux mousse def is not for my hair for sure. My hair was just to dry but i am interest in trying their honey mousse. Looking forward to seeing u experiment further.

    I need to try this shampoo out! Right now I'm using AG's apple cider vinegar shampoo & conditioner. It's amazing especially the conditioner whew! My wash n go's are pretty good but I gotta start putting my gel/foam all over my hair then start sectioning to shingle/style like you did. I'm using the deux's big poppa gel and it's too freaking good but I could go in with a little foam on top to set a little more. Loving my 1.5 hr wash day wash n go's, health over length, defining curls, hooded dryer journey ☺ Lol the braid out and the braids were hella cute!!!

      I keep hearing amazing things about the AG apple cider vinegar shampoo!!! I’ll have to test it out frfr. And yes girl ever since a stylist did that with a wash and go I’ve never applied anything the same. It just locks all the moisture in especially with a gel! I’ll have to give big poppa a try to I’ve heard so many good things!!

    Just so y'all know, (honey in general but especially) Honey Hydrate will blast your cuticles all the way open. It's great for low porosity or right after a protein treatment, but i don't think it'll be great for high porosity or damaged hair.

    The honey hydrate does wonders for me. It’s a leave in conditioner so I’ll use it when moisturizing my hair after a wash and I use a small amount for the sections of my hair, like a tip of my finger amount. When I first ever used it I used a lot like you did and hated it but some years later I ended up using it again but waaay less and ever since it’s been in my routine. I’m not too sure what my hair porosity is but I think maybe low or medium porosity.

    when watching you apply products, you can clearly see that nothing is on the inside of your hair. because you just put it on the outside and then on the ponytail. like when you did the deep conditioner that entire inside portion had no deep conditioner on it. So it makes me wonder if the deep conditioner is actually doing anything or if it's just placebo.

    Yeah it's supposed to heat up but it's really thin and sticky 😂😂 You can't really detangle with it but it's good at opening up your hair to accepting your styling products...If that makes sense. Humidity will kill the hairstyle in an hour if you use the leave-in during the summer. Speaking from past experiences😔😔
