I once advised a man on his trailer squeaky brakes. I told him that a bit of copper grease might help. Next I saw him, he'd emptied a spray can of grease all over the six discs. The squeaking was gone. He thanked me.
I prefer to use an auto oiler filled with 90W hypoid oil. Seal up the bell housing so that it's liquid tight and just fill it up. The auto oiler will keep the bell housing filled to the brim.
That sounds like it would be a bit like the torque converter on an automatic transmission. Might be perfect for someone who is used to an auto, who is getting used to a manual box.
@@patrickjmorgan One has to stay hopeful for that viral video lol, didn't quite pull it off but was fun making it. Mrs Mark? was that Mr Mark or Debbie?
I myself find butter slightly better than grease as it smells like toast when inevitably your clutch starts slipping.
Break in period is until the clutch stops slipping

@@patrickjmorgan Hi Patrick, sadly she passed away in March from Ovarian Cancer. Hence not making many videos.
Noooo, you can't overgrease the clutch, more the merrier😂
You might be right I guess lol
This half-assed fitter doesn't know what he is doing. everyone knows you use Molybdenum grease on clutches. Lithium is used on belts
That got me laughing lol
Wow! I skipped the clutch topic in college
This has got to be a joke... Using grease on the contact surface between the flywheel and the friction disc? No way...
yes it was April fools
Uploaded on April 1😮

OmG
I prefer a wet clutch
That's a good point, a motorbike has a clutch in oil bath doesn't it.
