Best Coast tracks will forever make me reminisce about the last 6 years that I spent in SoCal. Currently in Colorado and loving it, but DAMN. This pulls up those warm weather memories.
I feel the same. I was born and raised in SoCal. I've been living in Colorado since 2014. I absolutely love Northern Colorado but Best Coast, among other things, makes me miss California. I miss living near the beach. The ocean is my happy place. At least I still get to visit and I love living in Colorado.

For the longest time, I kept hearing this song at work, and liking it, despite its somewhat sad undertone. I finally found it and I knew I was going to relate so well to it. I also keep thinking I'll find my reason to wake up each day somewhere, somehow. Docs also tell me to take anti-depressants, but wind up finding them pointless. This song tells of the struggle of depression..... I could be wrong, but that's my take on it. Love it

I really like this song (and the video, too). It's a classic, happy "summer song" that you'd be playing at the beach, while everyone is dancing and having a good time. (Compare for example with "Every Morning" by Sugar Ray.) I'm also impressed by the lead singer. She has a nice voice and a lovely smile (I don't care if it may have been faked for the video... it's still a beautiful smile.) Keep it coming, Best Coast!

I freaking love this song, probably my favorite one out of their whole album.
I don't exactly love the direction their music has gone on the past few albums, but honestly I think Bethany knows what shes doing and even though their newer music isn't quite the band I fell in love with anymore, I'm glad they're doing so well.

thedogoffaleash Whislt I liked some of the songs from the first two albums, I kinda felt they were stonger as a singles band rather than an albums band. I would love it if they did a Crazy For You style album, but with consistently stronger (and more mature) songs.

Never heard of this group before last week, but heard this song in the Showtime show "Roadies" and really liked it.
love this. i can't believe it's been 5 years since 'crazy for you'. your songs still speak to me... this couldn't have come at a better time for me. i'd been feeling really blue and grey after breaking up with my partner... stuff had been going on/off. i got sad and kind of fell into a dark and sad place. i was frustrated that the love wasn't enough. i finally met someone else that made me feel better again. brought some light back into my world. showed me i could love. we're over now, and i'm very sad. but i know i'll be OK. i'm no longer numb or scared. i'll love again- when its least expected.
