remember: names are good, but they aren't everything! at the end of the day, how you explain the impacts of your extracurriculars matters more than how much money you spent to put them on your transcript.
Please make a video on how the whole process of college application works for Indian students because most of the Indian schools do not provide any extracurricular or even academic activities outside of curriculum. I really love your channel ❤ and all the useful info you share about scholarships offered at Uni's in the U.S. I would love to join the Incognito Blueprint Summer Research program opening in Jan 28th (enrollment). But it's a bit pricey, given that 1$ ~ 1,000 Naira. I really don't want to miss this opportunity, seeing that it's a course you'ld be teaching and it's a good way to show Universities that I'm interested in making an impact, genuinely, ( via research - having real world application). Is there anything you could do about it😊?

I have the option to go for IB courses, IB diploma, and the Running start program. I was wondering if you could make a video about comparing those 3 pathways and maybe the AP path as well. I was just wondering which would look the best on college apps and which would help me succeed. Thanks!
If you are certain about going to US for undergrad college, then taking the IB courses is best for you!

as a moroccan student, i think filling out these activities stuff is pretty draining, like it really needs to some type of a virtual trick (of course free or less than 100$), to make this profile, plus morocco had passed through hard times in public high school all teacher protesting against the government, the national exam got shortened, and now private schools are showing huge imbalances, i think getting to one of these IVY league colleges is going to be a real challenge 😥

Taekwondo great EC! Im not the one to tell you it is great, but Taekwondo will also be a part of my resume. Ive been doing TKD for 11 years now, and I have a 4th degree black belt :). (Freshmen btw)

I have a strong academic background but a not so good extracurriculars. so i was planning to take drop year and prepare for those extracurriculars this year to apply for the next year. i have some connections and resources to have some good extracurriculars both academically and some other fields. i will also be taking part in the research bootcamp. do you think that it is a good idea?

Hello mam, recently i heard a very big study abroad youtuber telling about a loop hole of getting into a ivy league University. He said you can take unpopular cources which are somewhat related to your field and after 1 year you can switch to the program you always wanted(for undergrad). Is this ture?
while this is possible, it's not as easy as it sounds! Many top universities have a limited space for their majors. For example, if a student wanted to transfer from a psychology major to CS, the steps to change major will not be straightforward- there could be a restriction where they might need a certain 1st year subject/credit which you had to take. I wouldn't recommend taking such a risk of loosing 1 or 2 years in case this doesn't work out!

online can work, but courses aren't enough- there needs to be a final product/project out of it

Hey, I need an honest opinion, I've always had a dream of studying at MIT, but I'm an international student and here extracurricular activities are not an "obligation" for the student to do. I didn't know that I was going to study abroad with a scholarship, I was going to start preparing in my first year of high school but I contracted an illness and had to undergo treatment, and my last three years in school were done online, I only stayed at home and in the hospital. Now that I've finished my studies, I wanted to take a sabbatical year to dedicate myself and try to pursue an undergraduate degree at MIT. Do I have any chance?❤

yup there are several robotic or other types of kits that you can explore, of course working with a professor will give you an edge but both types of research look good on profile

acc. to total number, you report your scores in your grading and not in GPA or any other conversion

If you are going for a masters/mba- then your LORs can be from your direct employer. I would not use a stranger/other influential person

Hey, Im an Indian student currently going in 9th grade, I really want to get into MIT, I was wondering should i go for the research bootcamp rn or wait for 1-2 years, bcuz im not sure if my parents will rlly allow to pay a wholesum amt at this young age but at the same time after 9th, 10-12 will be quite hectic bcuz of boards and i will hve to prepare for JEE too, DESPERATE HELP NEEDED TO DECIDE PLS!
If you are in 8th now, you are too young to join the bootcamp(join that when you finish your 9th or 10th). Instead I will suggest you to focus on building your profile. Try exploring different subjects like computer science, Law, medicine etc. Research as much as you can because you have ample time. Try collecting some certificates(which hold value). You can start writing your essay and make it better and better. Collect info from RUclips videos/articles and write it somewhere or else you will forget it. If you will be preparing for jee then you will have very less time in 11th 12th grade, thus do most of your research before entering 11th grade. Take small steps towards your goal and also focus on your academic scores because they do matter. Try scoring 85+ (roughly equivalent to 3.5 gpa. Also if you have free time you can go to Khan academy and start studying for sat. Studying for sat will also help you in your academic studies because the concepts are kinda same. I hope you achieve your goal buddy 🙌
