    I currently have a Mustang LT 25 amplifier as my starter amp with an input and auxiliary input headphone jack and FTSW plug and I’m going to be getting other pedals as well. Do I run a stereo out to a single plug that goes into the input on my amplifier? You most petals have a single plug that goes from pedal pedal? If I’m going from pedal to pedal and I come to the beat buddy do I just put it in one of the left or right inputs or do I get a stereo adapter to come from a single plug on the previous pedal? I’m going to upgrade my amplifier to something much better soon but for now that’s my set up. I also have a focusrite 2i2 i’m using for recording voice through my SMBd7 shure microphone but I’ll also wanna use it to record guitar and bass in. Additionally, want to use pedals. Kind of new at this site. Find out the correct hook things up.

    Hi - Great tutorial! I am an intermediate guitarist and primarily play acoustic, but know little to nothing about speakers, amps, recording, etc.
    I am wanting to know what else I would need in addition to the BeatBuddy in order to utilize this awesome device. For example, what type of speakers, or can I play through an amp? Can I plug my acoustic pickup into the BeatBuddy? Do I need additional cables? etc Finally, if I want to record a backing track or bass track along with the drums from BeatBuddy, what do I need?
    Thanks!

    I had an issue when deciding Beat Buddy or Band Trio plus. I went for the band trio plus pedal. I am thinking that the Beatbuddy is just a regular drum machine in a pedal. Nothing diferent from a regular drum machine. The thing is, i need to press it allot while the band creator just makes the thing for me and all i have to do is switch parts, wich works okay. It can be hard to keep the tempo when making new loops/parts. So there are pros and cons on both pedals. I might get Beat Buddy in the future when it will cost like half of what it cost now. Band trio is cheaper and it comes with drums and bass, soo I thought that it was a better buy and that external footswitch you can buy for almost nothing is very usefull with my other rigs.

      Good feedback. The TRIO's are actually quite a bit more expensive here in the US than the BeatBuddy.

    Hi Pedal Guy
    Couple of questions....
    Aside from all the fills, are there only part 1 and part 2 transitions for each selection?...and does this apply also to the 'extended' library which can be purchased separately?
    Thanks again 👍👍

  • @monsterjazzlicks
    @monsterjazzlicks 3 года назад +1

    @ThePedalGuy - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I keep reading that you have to pay 250GBP to be able to access the full library of patterns? And that the manufacturer has deliberately pre-installed only a limited amount of accompaniments so as to force you into an after-sales corner!

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  3 года назад +1

      Not that I’m aware of. There’s so much that comes with the BeatBuddy already as far as patterns and songs go. The expansion library that you can buy from singular Sound is just that. An add on.

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for the question. Honestly it’s not a fair comparison as the TRIO builds a full song with drums and bass and also includes a looper. The BeatBuddy is simply a drum machine.
      However if you look through my channel you’ll see pretty quickly that there’s a ton of vids on the TRIO so I like that pedal quite a bit. 😉

      I watched a short from singular sound and in it they stated that you could damage your amp if you’re running the beat Buddy through it like you would run another pedal through. That video recommended using a PA system for the beat buddy. I think if you’re using your main guitar amp utilizing a mixer is a good idea.
