My god I love this pedal!! It's an incredible piece of gear you can use to practice/play live with and a dream come true for one-man band singer-songwriters!! I can't even begin to explain how much fun you can have with this! The possibilities are endless!
Here is a fun video of me jamming in a couple of different styles. I actually jammed all day long filming this as was having so much fun abut forgot to record most of it as was getting to engrossed!

I am on the fence with this pedal, in a live situation: on paper it seems like a great idea, but I notice that people get turned off when they see “one man band” people with too many parts put in...

I’ve had the BeatBuddy for a while , not only is it good to play along with but sure makes practicing a whole lot more fun. I run mine through a bass amp, just sounds better to me going through it.

if only the single crash sound is coupled with a Kick drum sound to make it more punchy. how can they overlook this essential kick drum??

Add a Boss OC-3 octaver pedal on 'poly' mode, and the bass starts pumpin' out. It only doubles the lowest note! Then you have your own trio :)

The Beat Buddy should of been made a little heavier, as it has a tendency to move easily when you step on the pedal. For the price I paid 300.00$ I shouldn't have to pace it on a mouse pad to keep it in place . The velcro that's included with the Beat Buddy is just pure nonsense. But overall it's better than other drum machines out there for guitar players. #🎸🎸🎸
