Can't say about the reliability of MG engine, but the guy, "Dilip Kumar" was awesome in his communication as well as knowledge regarding the product.
MG is a new brand, but with 5 star safety and so much features, if the engine reliability comes out to be top notch, then this brand has the potential to challenge the korean brothers.
It comes with 5 years warranty on engine I guess

The question is how much abuse friendly is the vehicle. Like Maruti 800 can still be seen on roads, the first gen wagonR is still very much seen, old gen toyota innova is still a popular vehicle, because these were very reliable and abuse friendly vehicles.
If you drive any car like snowflake, drive on 60-70 always, don't let the RPM swing above 2-3, than even the worst car would last lakhs of kms. The question is which car will last till lakhs even if it is taken to spiti, ladakh, Nandi hills type places. Then comes the real reliablility.
How about the air vent behind the tablet? If it's there, then the beauty is compromised.

मेरे पास M G 4-5महीना चलाक़े देखो बहुत रुलाई की ये गाड़ी 30-35 हजार पर ही क्लच प्लेट फ्लाई व्हील सब बदल बना पड़ेगा 60-70 हजार खर्च करना पड़ेगा भले ही ज़ीरो डेप्थ इन्सुरेंस हो । अगर छोटा
मोटा एक्सीडेंट हो जाये तो शोरूम पर सामान नहीं मिलेगा 10-12 दिन में सामान आयेगा फिर आप की गाड़ी मिलेगी । ये सब मै भोपाल शोरूम पर भुगत चुका हूँ । ज़रा सोच समझ कर
